I just got an e-mail from this really nice lady, named Anita, in my city Corgi meet-up group. Her little Pemmy man, Tucker, passed away early this morning. He lived a very long & full life, he was in a lot of pain at the Vet's, and was pts and cremated today.

I wanted to post him here, because he was such a sweet guy, and I always enjoyed seeing him... of course I love all the Corgi's, but he was this cheerful, stocky, happy pup and loved everybody. Tucker definitely stood out, and would always trot up to me as fast as he could, because he knew I'd give him cookies! He was definitely the eptiome of what a Pemmy should be, and he will be missed so much. Look at that smile!!! This picture was taken in October.

Hello Everyone,

Tucker's mommy hear. Thank you for your posts. Before going to bed this evening I thought I would Google Tucker's name. To my surprise I found this site and another site where so wonderful person has posted their goodbyes to my beautiful boy. Despite my heart is breaking into a million tiny pieces I am moved by the response that I have received from wonderful corgi owners all over the world.

Tucker went to the emergency hospital Sunday morning after he refused to eat breakfast for the 2nd day in a row. I really thought he was getting better Monday evening when I saw him but Tuesday evening he couldn't even walk or pickup his head. The vet called at 2am to tell me Tucker was in pain and going down hill fast. I could not stand to see my sweet baby in pain. Despite the fact I wanted Tucker to stay with me I made the ultimate sacrifice and signed the paper to send him to the Rainbow bridge. That was the hardest decision I've ever had to make in my lift.

The wonderful people from Dogster have helped tremedously to try to get Tucker's vet bills paid off by making donations to his bill. Unfortunately the vet keeps finding new charges not yet billed to my account plus I still owe $1000 for the deposit I had to put down. This is just not fair. I just lost my "child" and now I have to worry about paying off the vet and my credit cards. You know if the vet can't figure out what is wrong with an animal you shouldn't have to pay anything.

I have attached a picture of Tucker with his new angel wings.

Rest in piece my sweet angle with those big beautiful loving eyes.

By the way, Tucker's life wasn't long enough. He was only 6 years, 3 1/2 months old.
