Yes but only on the dog couch!
Bear still scratches at her callus from time to time & causes them to bleed, so we cover the dogs couch with a thick white sheet that I can bleach clean. So OUR couch is always covered in stuff to keep Bear off of it.

LOL! Yes! All of the above! I draw the line at under-the-blankets, but Samson will cross the line when I'm not home.

What a fun thread and so many adorable pics! Oh, my furniture was *sacrificed* long ago to my dogs and my kitties. It's been initiated so many times, I can't even count. :p
Usually the cats hog it the most and Gretta with her short legs just lies in her doggie bed with AnnaBelle (who can't jump any more). Kenny is rather large so he stays on ground level too! I'll see if I can find any pics to attach though.
Ok, the first is an older one of Gretta. The second is a very recent one of Gretta, with Dexter kitty on it too. The third is AnnaBelle before she had her accident. :(

Around here, the more sensible question would be: are PEOPLE allowed on the furniture, or not? Many's the time Dad walks in, looks around at all the full chairs and sofa, and goes in to his bed; where he has to move Crystal and Vita to get in. When company comes, I have to go around a move "stuff" to make room for them to sit. Most folks have to move laundry and newspapers; I have to move furries! :D

I would never allow my dogs on the furniture! Uh oh; my nose just grew an inch! :D ;)
I'll never (I know, I know; never say never) allow dogs on the furniture again though. When I get my rescue dog it will have to be satisfied with a plush doggie bed on the floor.

Hehehe, what a great thread. I am loving all of the pictures. too cute.
And I especially love anything that will get us pictures of Daisy and Delilah. Those are very cute pictures, Terri.
But in any case my answer is a very definite, yes. As a matter of fact, when I bought the couch in the den, I purposely went to a used furniture store so that I wouldn't get too upset if Ginger messed it up. :) We both love that couch.

Thanks Joyce. I'm loving the pictures of gorgeous Ginger!! Who are all her buddies in the first pic? I actually have some more pics of them I haven't uploaded yet but they're always the same thing so I feel I'm boring everyone with them :) I still have a terrible time with the "camera shy" Miss Daisy ;)

haha I'm lovin' all the photos, they are so funny...
Now what happens when you keep a grey off the couch...?

ATTITUDE HAPPENS!!!
She's got a big enough bed, mind you :p
I feel sorry for her a lot because she often lies on the tile floor and is really boney... That must hurt. (X_X)

Pshh, who, me? Let him on the furniture?
Well yeah. DBF doesn't like for him to sleep with us 'cause he fidgets too much, but other than that he's allowed on the furniture.

He's pooped out after his first day of Doggy Day Care. :)

at my house - if you want a good seat you have to move the cat first ... she has a "blankie" on the love seat, so it remains relatively cat-hair free for guests. Most everybody who visits us already has fur on them from their own pets, though. LOVE all the pics in this thread!

I don't have pics at the moment (since I'm at work), but I'll post some later.
Zoee is allowed on one of the chairs and the chaise part of the couch, since these have blankets on them. Oh, and she sleeps on the bed with us.
Taz (I know he's not a dog) however is allowed on all furniture, except tables and counter tops.
All these pictures are too cute!! :D
