Yesterday, I got Fawn neutered, Mackerella, and Cookie spayed. On the way to the vets office, they didn't make a sound while they were being transported in their carriers! (This is quite unusual). However, what was most consoling is that Fawn was so obviously very happy to be home again. I had never witnessed a cat that was so happy to be with me, and the rest of the firkid family. Last night he curled up next to me on the covers and slept the whole night. I could feel him vibrating with "purr power", until he went to sleep. Today, he is a different cat, and doesn't get into everything as he used to:)

For the next 2 weeks or so, I will not be on the internet, nor on Pet Talk, as I am now making plans to move to Kansas for retirement. I must take a trip there and scout out some homes. Until then ;)

Good luck and keep us posted. Tell us how your cats are doing when you get back. By the way, how many cats do you have?

lando, there are 19 firkids in my family, including the kittens ( 9 adults and 10 kittens) , and I am loving having all them together with me. When I move out of state, I indend to purchase an older house with 2 storys in it, or at least one with adequate attic space,so I can provide plenty of room for my firkids, and a private room for me, so I will not have to fight off all of my attackers when I sit down to eat! .:D

Wayne, how would you ever be able to crate and move all those kitties? I am sure you will figure it out. I surely hope you will have some help. Maybe there is someone on Pet Talk who could help you?

Keep us posted! And what ever happened with your camera? Digital one, that is. WE DEMAND PICTURES WAYNE. IT JUST ISN'T FAIR THAT WE NEVER GET TO SEE YOUR ZOO.

Hope you have a good trip to find a new house.

sas vt; Peple are not very helpful around here. I can get the images on the screen but I do not know how to get them on the internet. Therefore, I cannot do this now and besides, I do not have the time to figure it out. It is very frustrating to have the equipment and not know how to use it. Perhaps I can find someone this weekend who will give me a step by step procedure, and not just throw something at me and expect me to rememeber all of it. I am sorry for the inconvenience of promising things and then not be able to deliver them. We will all have to wait until I can find some other helpful folks, if indeed I am around here long enough to give them time.

As far as moving my family, I plan to use my truck with a camper shell on the back and place all of them in there, with blankets, food , water, and a litter box. I may have to drive straight through, because of their becoming restless during prolonged stops. I do not know how they will react to a 1600- mile trip. I know how I will react to it - very tired! But I believe it will be worth it. Of course I do not plan to move right away, perhaps in a few more months, especially when the weather cools off a bit.:)

Hi Wayne good luck finding a new home in Kansas!Wow, 1600 mile trip is a long trip, moving with all your menagerie(by the way it encrease a high rate) is something I would like to see!:D If I could say if I were you will do some rehearsal before the final attempt, you never know how things can turn up,and your furkids be more used to it(or more scared to it :D).And please be carefull, take a rest if tired ,better angry kitties than orphans ones.

You don't need to upload on the internet to show pictures,we all here are aware in seeing your family.I copied this instructions from a post here at PT,I'm the least computer literate in the world
" To upload to the server(1), scroll down to the bottom of the post reply box, where it says "attach file" and click the browse button to find it on your hard drive(2), then hit open. t too." (1) Pet Talk in this case.
(2) The file were the pic are.
When the file is already open choose*All Supported Files* in Files of Type, then select the picture you want to show, then click open.Tha'ts is how it works for me,and I hope for you too!

Good Luck for you all!!!

OK folks, I am going to try it again, here goes. Well, I still cannot get it to do anything. Koxka, I appreciate your help. However, the pictures do not transfer on to the net. I am OK until it click on the "open" then nothing. Oh well, tomarrow is another day. Bye, all, will see you and hopefully be able to post pictures soon.:)
