Do you work with animals or want to???

When I grow up, it really want to work with animals. I want to train animals like dogs and cats for movies a.k.a. Animal Trainer :D

No I don't and really don't see it as a career for me.I love animals but I will just stick to have a house full of my own fur,feather,scale,and fin kids to spoil and love :D

Yes, I've worked at the humane society for almost a year. Before that, I worked at a vet clinic for a year and a half. There is a horse boarding facility down the street that is looking for help and I am going to call soon to see if I can fit it into my schedule. I'm just looking for a part-time job, because I only work a couple days a week at the humane society.

Yep, I work at my HS as a kennel attendant.

In the summer I help out injured birds & baby birds,

I also help out ground hogs, racoons, possums ect .. but those animals end up at the animal centres because they could make me sick.

I also want to work at a pet store, then when I grow up the Zoo is my goal. :)

Nope I don't work with animals, just the ones that I have at home as my own pets. I thought of becomming a vet but then I realized that I just like having all my fav pets and animals at home. Although if I have my own place someday I want to rescue poor stray animals.:)

I want a career as a vet, but for now hopefully in a week or two's time I'l be volunteering at my local shelter! Also, I'm doing some work in veterinary practices this summer and I'm very much looking forward to it. :)

I didn't vote because I don't currently work with animals, but I did for 6 years. I just quite this past year because my husband and I moved. Now I'm also pregnant so I'm not going back to work.

For 6 years I managed a pet boarding facility and did both domestic and wildlife rescue. I'd like to get back into the rescue someday, maybe when my kids are in school.

Not yet! I quite possibly have a job as a groomer lined up for the summer, and I'm going to try to work at the local veterinary hospital...but at the current time I'm going to school full time with the ultimate goal of becoming a vet.

I volunteer with a cat rescue organization in Pittsburgh. I love cats in any shape and form. At Cat Sense I'm known as the Cat whisperer! I can calm and relax just about any cat by cuddling him/her!

I help out at a petstore that specializes in Birds, Fish, & Reptiles. I've learned more than I'd ever imagine.. and I continue to learn something new each day! It allows me to get all the hands on experiance I want with the bigger parrots(macaws, amazons, etc.) of which I'm unable to have at home. Also, my fish & reptile knowledge is expanding.

If volunteering at the shelter counts, then yes I do. :) I do plan on working at the shelter someday or becoming a vet tech. :)

I used to work at a dog kennel and animal hospital and loved both jobs (unfortunately the pay wasn't good!). However, I just received my dog training certification so hope to use that in the near future.

Not really. I work at a historic farm but I don't get the see the cows that often. I'd like to train horses for a while in the future.

I use to. My first job was a pet care specailist at a petstore. I'd LOOOOOVE to work with animals again. I loved working with animals, just not at a petstore. A humane society, vet's office, training school, etc would be nice. something with dogs.
