My 2 cats (a maine coon mix and a longhair mix, both about 3 years old and healthy) love Friskies, particularly the ocean fish flavor. I have tried a various times to convert them over to a "better" food by gradually introducing more of the new food, they just eat around it and eat the Friskies kibbles.

Does anyone have thoughts on whether friskies is an adequate food. They are both indoor cats, they occaissionally get little pots of wheat grass and they love this.

thanks

Friskies is supposed to be complete. If your cat's are healthy and happy, I wouldn't worry about it. The only reason I don't feed it is because it turns my cats' poo orange; must be the water. Anyway, most commercial cat foods are nutritionaly complete. Feeding is usually a matter of your cats' taste and health.
