Metamucil.

Canola or olive oil (careful, not too much)

Wet food warmed with warm water and a bit of the above oil in it.

Oat bran....again, a bit mixed in with wet food or chopped raw.

Good luck!

Hun if this is the same pup that has had the runs I wouldn't reccommend giving her anything to make her poop.

It can take a few days for her tummy to settle, If she was mine I wouldn't add more stress on her tummy right now. just my opinion.

it's been pushing almost 5 days now, and seems to be that she is only pooping at night in her kennel and im am SO worried, even though i shouldnt be so worried, but i can just tell how uncomfortable she is...she grunts and moans when she lays on her side! poor little thing! she needs some relief

I can understand your worry, however, it may be a blockage, and yes I know you cannot get to a vet right away due to weather, but forcing the issue by adding some roughage may do more harm than good. If it is a blockage, maybe a small bone, or a piece of puppy toy you didn't notice, or even paper, you can damage her internally by forcing it to pass.

I would keep her on a very light diet, broth made form bones ckn backs etc. and some rice WELL cooked, that will lessen the amount of actual stool being produced, and also not stressing her tummy. You may want to inquire about home visits by your vet, our vet will do them for an additional trip charge. I would worry less about her pooping in her crate and more about finding ways around the weather. I know how awful and helpless you can feel when the weather wont co-operate. We are having and Ice storm as we speak so I am not being awful just trying to be helpful.

Did you call the Vet? 5 days ago was mid-week - certainly an Emergency Vet would be open.

alot of vets even recommend pumpkin pie filling. as long as theres not something blocking that could hurt em. it can be used for multiple animals and they like it alot. but do it outside, for it will come FAST!

If you do get pumpkin do not get the PIE FILLING.
There is 100% pumpkin in the can, there's a difference, there's a lot
of sugar in the pie filling.
