On my sheltie board we've been discussing the benefits of this supplement called Nupro. There are two types one is Nupro Gold which states it gives the dog nutrients that is lost in the manufacturing of kibble. The other is Nupro Joint Supplement with glucosimine and condroitin added to the basic formula. Several of the gals have tried it and saw improvement in activity and over all well being in only two weeks. The joint supplement also seems to help older dogs move more freely.
Just thought I'd pass this on..

I called and talked to the owner of Nupro last night and he is sending us a packet of info on the product and a sample. I will let you know what we think. I am glad it's working for you!

I bought a tub of Nupro (w/Glucosamine & Chondroitin) for the Shelties. Certainly sounded promising.. but we never got to see the results because both Shelties refuse to eat their food if they could taste that stuff LOL. Now I have a tub of $44 Nupro powder sitting in my fridge.. :p

I wasnt going to say that, but yea- we found out the same thing. That is also why we use the Missing link w/ gloucosamine etc and Hair of the dog. Not even these guys will turn that down- and actually Mr.Snub anything that isnt raw, will eat it straight- no kidding.
anyone want my tub of it too?

Ash, I'll buy it off you. :D Or we could make a trade -- your Nupro for my rat cage! Don't know how you're going to get that rat cage to your house though lol.
