Help! What is his breed???

Shiloh is a year old now and weighs about 45 lbs. I got him when he was about 6-8 wks old. He was given to us by a homeless little boy in a shopping center parking lot. The little boy said that his mom told him he couldn't keep him anymore. Shiloh was full of grease from living under the car that the family lived in. I didn't have it in my heart to say no, and have never regreted it. The only thing is that where ever we go, people ask us what breed he is and we have no clue! Can anyone please help us?

I am not good at Identifying mixed breeds, all I do know is that Shiloh is a Cutie, what ever he is. I would however be iinclinecd to say he is a terrier mix.JMO:D

The first picture, before I clicked on it to see the larger version I thought he looked like a Boston. I'd be inclined to say some sort of Boston mix, I'm not really sure with what though. Something a little larger...I have no idea. He is ADORABLE though!!!

That was what I was going to say too. Boston Terrier and Rat Terrier.

I thought maybe a jack russell, fox terrier or maybe alittle beagle in him. I dont think he looks like a boston, he isnt as wide or anything like a boston.

Though it's unlikely, he looks like a basenji mix to me. :)

Yep. The ears and face do look like a JR/PT, but his weight is something larger.

He might even be a purebred Boston Terrier from a pet store or BYB, although the tiny bit of tan on the muzzle suggests some JRT blood.

I see lots of Border collie in him, clearly not full, but I would almost definatly say there is at least some. mixed with bosten terrier or maybe beagle, though he is the size of a BC so im not so sure about the smaller breeds mixed in...

I see a lot of Jack Russell with maybe pug or small Borde Collie. I'm not too great at defining mixed breeds.

I've seen some decent sized rat terrier mixes, and they can have three colors. I have a foundling puppy myself, and can't tell what he is. As long as they are sweet and loving, that is all that counts.

I sure hope for the mother's sake she was the pit, could you image a chi giving birth to a pit sized pup? Ouch!!

I would definitely say terrier is in him for sure.....not sure about anything else. He is a beautiful dog though. I would say you lucked out. :)

He is a rescue.The mother was a small english staffordshire and papa was a chi mix. Julio is very cute. I call him my chihuahua on steroids or my micro-pit. :D

ya know, older he actually looks a lot like a Rat Terrier, he would have to be mixed with something pretty big lol but he has a very Ratty look to him:
