If you remember a week and a half before christmas we had goobies Eye removed. Doctor was 99.99% sure it was cancer. we have not gotten the results back from The state yet. Goobie is not doing good it actually looks like she grew and eye back and more. What ever is causing this is back with a vengence. I just came home from working a double at work she now has blood dripping from her nose. She has been having trouble breathing and getting comfortable the last couple days. Tomarrow morning I will be taking Mrs. Magoo to the vets. She is going to go and get a much deserved rest from this ruff life she has led. I am barely holding together for the kids. I explained there is nothing else we can do. My one son is mad at me and does not want me to take her tomarow but she is suffering. She will be greatly missed. Just pray she goes peacefully tomarrow and She enjoys her after life with four good legs instead of three. Two whole ears instead of one and two beautiful eyes in wich she can see out of.

This is so hard I will be calling the vets office in about 30 minutes. I waiting for the kids to walk out the door to school. My 17 yr old is ok. My 15 yr old keeps going to the crate to look at her. She is still bleeding out of the nose and she is swollen really really bad. Once they leave I wil make the phone calls and do what I have to do. He just aproached me just now and does not want me to put her down. He is now talking to himself He just went to the cookie jar and said let me give you my last treat. He just said his goodbyes to her. God this is so hard. need to get showered and ready to do do what I need to do.

:( Rest in peace, Mrs. Magoo. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Im so sorry for your loss. You did do the best thing for her and she had a wonderful life with you. It hurts you but at least there is some comfort that life is no longer painful for her. She knows you love her, and she still loves you. You will see her again.

I am so sorry. I am sitting here crying for you and your family. :(
I hope your son understands it was the right thing to do for Mrs Magoo.
Just give it time and all humans and dogs (I read the thread on Peaches) will be fine and remember the good times with her.
Play hard at Rainbow Bridge, Mrs Magoo....if you see DJ tell him we love him!!

Poor kids, too...they could see and know how she was suffering, but they were heartbroken too.
I hope they get some comfort from the fact that she is at peace, and doesn't hurt any more...and that the whole family loved her the best anyone could have.

Oh I'm so very very sorry. I've searched for news on Mrs. Magoo since I first saw the thread about her surgery. I hopped against hope that she would be ok.
I know how hard it is to loose a beloved pet and how hard it is for children to understand.
{{{hugs}}} to you and all the family

I am so sorry. I know how much it hurts. We risk our hearts for their love and devotion. In return, they give us some amazing things. She was a beautiful girl. She's now at peace at the RB, seeing the lush green grash out of both eyes. And you will meet again, you know? I firmly believe that.

Of coarse I didn't know your dog but at times like these there seems to b a connection. Its one that only dogs or furbabies would understand.June 5, I had to take my little boy Jeb ,this is where a 57 year man should be able to keep it togeather and have him put to sleep,I am so sorry this is about Mrs Magoo She looked to be such a loveable baby.I will have to stop because of the tears for Mrs Magoo and Jeb.I am sorry I can't finnish what I wanted to say,,,,Bye....Bob
I just got to this thread.
God bless you and your beautiful girl, (so humanlooking in her pic.)
May she have a nice well-deserved rest and a quiet happy time at the rainbow bridge.
I'll pray for all of you during this time of grieving.
***big hugs***

I just saw this thread, I'm so sorry. I've been following Mrs. Magoo's troubles since Christmas, poor thing. She can run free & whole at the Rainbow Bridge now. In time your kids will understand that your decision was humane. You will all be in my prayers.

May God Bless you and your whole family during this very horrible time for you. I am so very sorry for your loss, you did the right thing for her, but I know the right thing sometimes is the worse thing in the world for your heart!!!!!!!!!! My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
Rest in peace Mrs. Magoo, enjoy life healthy at the rainbow bridge.
