I'm very content with my two, and I will not have another dog until I'm on my own and already went to college. Two is probably my maxiumum for what I can care for properly for now.

I am getting a standard white poodle sometime next year, (unless I find a puppy in a shelter). Already have my breeder. :) My dad will be getting another english setter soon, just need to wait a year or so.

Since I have 16 dogs right now, no, I will not be wanting another dog in the near future.

Well not realy sure, i was happy with one, and now that i have two, not sure if i would want another one right away. But if there was a dog, that needed a home, i would definitely take it in!:)

I'm more than satisfied with 6. Plus with a baby on they way there is no way I'd add another dog to the family right now. My dogs will have enough adjusting to do with the baby (as will Justin and I).

I really want another cat, maybe in a year or so when the baby is a little older.

I would love another one but it is just not practical for me. Two are enough. I will definitely look forward to meeting your standard poodle Flatcoatlover!!!! Will it be a boy or a girl? :D

Financially we can only handle the one cat and one dog.
Of course I WANT another dog AND cat, but not possible at this time.

Not in the really near future, but I am getting a Toller next year...so I guess that's kind of near.

After I get her, I don't want anymore dogs of my own until Tango's gone (which hopefully won't be for a very long time). I like having only two dogs of my own. My parents also won't be getting anymore dogs until it comes time for Winston to go, so besides my new addition next year, my family will not be taking in anymore dogs.

Yes, after my sister moves out with Skylar & Kayla, we'll be adopting another small dog. Mum really wants either another pug mix or a poodle mix. Dad wants a chihuahua. =]
We'll just see what we end up with!

Yes, but of course my parents just won't have it. I cannot think of a reason why.

I want one before Autumn comes, I like coupling her with Max and working with two together for obedience and hunting and such. But no more until I'm done with college and have a good paying job that can cover a dog plus loan payments. I get to spoil my girlfriend's dogs too. She wants a greyhound.

I'm not sure. I would really love a Belgian.. and if the time is right when Visa has her next litter, I just may have to seriously consider a pup!

But we'll see. I'm not sure how Mickey would take to another dog - especially a high energy Belgian.

I am hoping for a girl, but if it's a boy I will be just as thrilled. :)

not in the really near future, considering I just got a new dog lol my next though will either be a new BC,Misty was to me my foundation bitch for breeding BCs but with her hip issues comming out, thats likley out of the question, so I would want to find a CBCA registered female sometime so I have more stud choices. if a female BC is not my next dog then my next will be one of Electra's puppys and that wont be for a few more years.

No, I'm content with my three permanent guys and random rescue poochies for now. BUT if a dane comes along, rescue or show quality, I'll snatch it in a heartbeat!

Nope! I'm quite content with my full house, and until I finish college and am able to have my own place I wouldn't even consider getting another.

With Layla being a puppy, two is enough for me right now. ;)

actually, I have to finally say no. Niņo is enough to deal with at the moment.

NO! Like the old TV show .... Eight is Enough! No more dogs until all of these are gone, which will probably be about ten years, at least.

Since I don't even have a dog, yes I very much want one in the future, but it might not be for another six years since I'm going to university:( Oh well, when I get one it will be the perfect doggy for me. I've always just been able to have a cat, rabbit, and fish.

I'd love to have another.
Once I get a bigger place, I will.

I have a Malinois pup coming in the next few months. Hopefully within the next few years I will have put my name down on a list for my foundation Sheltie bitch, or take one of the pups from Visa's next litter. :)

Near future...no, Keva is still a puppy, she's more than enough work right now! I voted yes though, :o as I'm sure I would end up getting another sibe if I was able to, when she's older....if I had my own place, if I mention a 3rd sibe here I would be killed for sure!

No dogs for me for a few years.

Giselle
01-14-2007, 07:26 PM
YES of course! I *want* one, but whether or not it will happen is up for debate.

I desperately want a female Dobe and I'm still waiting to get started on showing Pekes. Don't even get me started on Zoi's.

My next dog will be a German Shepherd from a dear friend's THEORETICAL foundation bitch, so it's a little obvious that it won't be for quite a while :D

I have to leave Rien behind for my first year at college, at least, and that will be heartbreaking enough. I don't have time or money or space for another dog.

However, hopefully in two years I'll be able to bring him out, and shortly after that I'll have a Shepherd baby for him to meet.

After I'm out of college (or grad school, depending on how far I go) and with a good paying job and a house/apartment that allows dogs, I'm getting another Malamute.

I really don't see another dog being realistic for me any time too soon. With my beagles still being so young and high-energy, and our rescue mutt needing lots and lots of extra attention and reassurance and work still, PLUS a wedding and a move this year, I don't think it would be fair to force another dog into the mix, no matter how much I would love to.
