How long before you can bathe puppies?

We have a flea infestation and I was wondering how long before you can bathe the puppies. I was told six weeks and I'm curious to why you have to wait that long. What health problems does it cause?

Fleas can cause anemia in pups. Ask you vet what to use with this young age. Give them a call tomorrow.. Also ask the vet what what you can use on mom as well..
