I am in total total shock and cannot think! I am just absolutely blown away by this news.
Nakita is one of the cats I got to know on Pet Talk through her wonderful poses and modeling for such wonderful and stunning photographs.
I am totally captured by her beauty and have never enjoyed looking at the cats on Pet Talk as much as I did looking at Nakita, Nakita was special, beautiful beyond description and I cannot believe she is gone, I am devastated. She is the most beauitful Russian Blue I have ever seen, so dainty and lady like and just so captivating.
Kass & Rob I will never ever ever forget her as long as I live thanks to you sharing her so wonderfully with us.

I, too have gone back to read all the comments here. When I first heard of little Emerald Eyes my eyes filled up with tears. Yes, we all grieve with you. :(

Today I was at the computer and Max was in his regular spot right in front of the keyboard. He knows that in that spot he will get hugs and kisses and I performed my duty as assigned. When I was hugging him, I thought about Max being 13 and how much longer would I have him. I cried into his fur and the hurt overwhelmed me. I know just how you feel.

Kass, I don't know what else to say except I know what you are going through and I understand the void that exists. You and Rob are in my prayers and I wish I could wave a magic wand and make the pain go away. Cherish the memories and know that those emerald eyes will be with you always.

Through your pain and grief try to remember that she is alright now, healed to the beautiful girl she was before this awful illness struck her. We don't know why these things happen, and I don't believe that God is responsible because he wanted another little kitty angel. Do you remember Rabbi Kushner who wrote "When Bad Things Happen to Good People"? He said that there is sickness and bad things in the world and it is just because we are human, or feline in this case, and are a part of the world that bad things befall us. The best - like Nakita - suffer along with the worst. Sometimes there just isn't a reason, or any meaning, for the things that cause us so much pain. So love Nakita's memory and believe you will see her again One Fine Day.

Since the loss of my five precious babies I have not been able to visit the memorial section of PT. I haven't even posted a goodbye thread to them because I just haven't been able to bring myself to do it. I simply could not let my tears and the pain that this brought back to me keep me from saying goodbye to Nakita.

I'm shocked and saddened beyond belief. :( She truly was too beautiful and fragile for this world.

I know all the words we say offer support but they can not ease the pain you are feeling. Only in time will it become a little more bearable but you will never forget or stop missing your beautiful little girl. I don't post on the cat side often, but I do look at the photos and I've always enjoyed photos of Nakita. She was one of the most gorgeous cats I have ever seen and she seemed to have such a wonderful unique personality too. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, I know she was a very special member of your family and very loved. It is so hard to lose them. :( {{hugs}}
