Before closing at work tonight, the guy in Pets came to me and said one of the Betta fish were sick and that he didn't have the supplies to make him better - he said he would sell him for $2, and wanted to know if I wanted him..
So I took him! He said the fish had fin rot - but they look fine to me?

I know he's still in the container (which is actually not too small) because I didn't have time to buy a tank, but I will tomorrow.

He has no name yet - suggestions welcome! I like Roman names. :)

Aww, he's pretty. =]
Good luck on deciding on a name. Sorry I can't provide any suggestions. My mind is blank right now!

What a cute little multicolored boy. His fins look fine, but I'd have taken him anyway too. I'm happy to hear that the store was concerned about a fish. Must be new betta time of year. I just got a yellow/black boy. I named him Bob Dole since dole is a fruit company and he looks like an overripe banana.
