Do your family and/or friends think you have to many pets????
Well my family can't really talk.My aunt and uncles have atleast 4pets each.
My dad isn't an animal person so he wouldn't mind if we never had any.He does love fish.My mom says we have the right number.my brother alwas says we have to many manly because he is a dog person and we don't have one.My grandparents don't but they think my aunt and uncle who have 6dogs and 2cats do because there dogs aren't trained(housebrocken or sit/stay/come/ect..)
total:2 cats,4 bettas,1 bird(moms)and 1 guinea pig(moms)

Mum thinks we do, only because she hates rats & mice. =]

Dad is fine with the number, as is my sister. Though both would prefer if we had more birds.

The majority of my friends think its cool that we have loads of animals.

The majority of the extended family (aunts & uncles & cousins) doesn't visit(as we live far away from them), so I don't know what they think. I do have an aunt that lives close who always wants me to bring an animal over to her house when I visit. =D She even likes my rats.

yup, we dont have much in the way of pet folks in my family lol on my dads side:

Uncle 1-no pets at all, you must also sanitize your hands before touching anything in his house, and their 3 kids do not have any pets either.

Uncle 2-loves dogs, has one himself, and his daughter has one too. his son does not have pets.

grandparents-hate cats, dont like dogs with the exeption of Happy and Misty.

moms side:

Uncle-has 1 dog and 1 cat, but they are just pets to them.

grandparents-have no pets but as my mom lived with them growing up they did have to put up with 2 GSDs, 2 Shelties, 1 Puli, 1 Rottie, 2 cats, some budgies, a bunch of fish, some gerbils... so they are fine with the whole thing and they understand my mom and I's love of pets.

great aunt-loves animals, has a cat, and she has been riding horses 3 times a week since she was a little girl and in her 70's has no intent to stop now.

Nah, we only have one dog and one cat.
My sister had 6 dogs at one time, so she can't really say anything. LOL
And now she has two cats, my mom has two dogs and my brother has a dog.
Bruce's mom has a cat and his brother has three cats.
So we are all pretty much animal people!! :D

My family basically aren't much for pet people.

Mom thinks the one cat she has is plenty! (I've already tried to talk her into taking Josh, but her cat Torry is deathly afraid of him. lol)

Dad doesn't have any pets
2 of the uncles don't have any pets
1 uncle just have one dog and that's plenty for them

Inlaws have 2 dogs and that's plenty, one for each of them.
BIL has one dog (he's allergic to cats)
SIL doesn't have any pets

They all think I'm nuts for having the original 5, let alone the additional 3!(including hubby who never had pets as a kid).

But then again my boss has 10 cats (used to be 10, went to 9 when my mom took Torry, then back up to 10 again with the latest one he refused to euthanize it). LOL

Yes, my parents think we have too many animals, just about a month and a half ago I begged and begged til they finally gave in and let me get my bunny Kishii, and this is when they had said before that they weren't letting anymore critters in the house :p I am so glad they gave in and let me get Kishii cause I love rabbits so much and Kishii was alone at the pet store in a small little cage. Anyways in our house is:

2 Cats (Bobo is mine)
1 Dog
2 big fish tanks
3 little fish tanks
1 rabbit
and 1 bird.

I think we should have more animals!:D

I'm sure almost everyone who knows us thinks we have too many animals. Well, too many dogs, anyway.

The only one who doesn't think so is my sister, who has just as many dogs as I do!

Let's see...we have 7 dogs, 2 cats, a bird, fish, and a horse. My dad thinks there is too many dogs, he hates the bird, and thinks I shouldn't have the "#*%#@ horse".
Grandparents have two cats but...pretty much hate dogs.
One aunt and uncle have one dog, the other has a cat. But pretty much everyone thinks we have too many. I don't care, they don't live here, we do. :) My grandma has gone as far as telling me that if we were to get one more dog she wouldn't come back until it's gone  . And she keeps asking me if I have friends that can take "some" of the dogs.  She lives 1500 miles away...honestly, she only comes to visit 2-3 times a year.

I have four dogs, but when I had three, my grandpa kept saying we needed another. I always knew there was a reason I liked him. ;)

Some think we have too many, but they have no effect on our household so they can shove it. If they want to start paying my bills, then they can tell us we have too many. ;)

My grandparents think we have too many (we have 16 dogs, 2 cats, 1 hamster, and 1 turtle) but the rest of my family doesn't since all my aunts and uncles have a lot of dogs too ( i know for sure that one aunt has 8 dogs and five cats but not sure about the others)

Yes they do. However, I really don't care what they think. They think I totally lost my mind after I adopted my rat Winkie. :p

My friends don't really mind how many I have, just as long as they're allowed to come over and pet them ;)

My family, however, generally do. My parents think that 4 pets is a good number and that we shouldn't have any more for a while. In a way though, I'm pretty lucky. No-one else in my whole family, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins etc have any pets, nor are intent on having any, and most certainly aren't impressed with my little Tia. :(

Some of my relatvies bug us saying we didn't need another dog.

They're the ones missing out, though - not us. :)

No I don't think so. If so, no one has ever told me.
But I do think that the three I have now is definitely my limit. Taking care of that big boy of ours is like taking care of three:D

I still live with my parents and we have a dog (West HIghlander) and I have two parrots (Sun Conure and Quaker Parrot). Do they think that I have two many pets? No. Do they think I am too much with my pets? YES! LOL

No not realy,

I also don't count my fish in as alot of pets because there more easy to take care of.

My birds are my main number of pets which would be 13 birds.

Many think we have too many dogs. But, we think it's perfect. I do know my mom gives me a mini lecture if I mention that I want another dog or a rat or something. And, I wouldn't get another dog right now, just because I want a bigger yard before we do. I know it's not a good idea right now to get another pet, but, one day, I'll have a lot more. :)

I'm down to one dog, and most of my stepdad's family still thinks that's too many. My mom's family is where you find the pet people. Most of my family is unaware of how many fish I have (14 goldfish, 7 bettas, 4 livebearers, 3 loaches). Those who are aware know I'm fish obsessed but don't really care.

No one ever would dare tell us we have too many, though I'm sure some think it.
My mother-in-law who is not an animal person by any means still encourages us to have the pets we have and encourages us to get more if we so choose. She knows we take care of them and they make us happy so she is supportive. She even tells us we should have more cats!
