VIRTUAL ADVENTURE: Willy's & Annie's Wild Christmas 2006

While inadvertantly contributing to LOTS of confusion, mistrust, distress, and worry about his sudden "disappearance" on December 23rd, Willy "showed up" on my doorstep that afternoon:

He had shipped HIMSELF to my own Little Orphan Annie for Christmas, and was hoping to surprise her.

He was VERY distressed to learn that Annie was not here! That, combined with his severe case of jet lag from the trip, led him to promptly fall asleep on the back of the recliner in my living room:

Annie, in the meantime, was on her way to Canada to see her beloved Willy! Her flight was delayed in Denver, and she sent me this picture of her at the airport there to reassure me that she was OK, and to tell me where she was headed:

It turns out that she had shipped herself to HIS house in Canada, as her gift to him! She sent me this picture, taken from the airplane after it took off, to let me know that she was in the air and there was nothing I could do to stop her from going to visit her dear, sweet, beloved Willy:

I was so upset with her for leaving without telling me, that I decided not to inform her that her dear, sweet, beloved Willy would not be there when she got there!

ON TOP OF ALL THIS, MY SLEEPING BAG WAS MISSING! :mad:

Once Willy was rested up enough, he and Shadow and Dottie decided to "help" me wrap Christmas presents:

I was like, "OMG!!!!! What are you doing here sweetie?" She said she came to see Willy and I just didn't have the heart to tell right then, that Willy was not here.

She jumped up on the table and asked Nugget, Chipper and Poppy if they have seen Willy. They all said, "No, we haven't seen the brat all day."

Annie went into my sons room and all she saw was the gray fur and thinking she had found her Willy, jumped up on the bed. She was so sad when she realized it was only Sades. Look at that pitiful face.

It was so heartbreaking to see her searching for her Willy that I knew I would eventually have to tell her he wasn't here.
When she was alone with Nugget, I decided then to let her know and her response was, "WWWWHHHHHAAAAATTTTTT!!!!!" "What am I going to do now????"

It's not anything wrong with my computer. It's just that Photobucket is blocked on my computer. I would be able to see them if they were posted from Imagestation. And I don't think virtual adventures were a bad idea. :)

By the way, Lorraine, has the missing sleeping bag showed up at your house yet? :confused: Annie just LOVES sleeping on it and/or in it, and I was SO hoping that she would have it with her! It disappeared at the same time that Annie did, so I just assumed that she took it with her.............

In fact, I have one lovesick little girl here missing her Willy-Poo. She just went and crawled into her sleeping bag after I told her that Willy was not here, but actually over at her house.

OMG, Lorraine! Willy ISN'T here! :eek: I just went and looked all over for him, and couldn't find him! I took those pictures of him this morning before I had to go to work at noon. I didn't even think to look for him when I got home from work this evening! I just came to the computer and posted the update with the pictures, and didn't notice that he isn't here until I saw his face under the cat tree in that picture that you posted! Then I was sure that it was just Annie's imagination at work, in a mysterious way. Could you double check there for him, and see if you can find him? Has Annie met up with him yet at your house? OMG, she's going to be S-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O happy to see him!

He said he just had to go potty before he surprised Annie. That WAS him on the tree. He said he couldn't take seeing that picture of Chipper with his Annie, so he high-tailed it out of your home to get back here as fast as he could.

Deb, I think your Annie is on her way back home. She must have slipped out when Willy was in the litter box. We can't find her or her sleeping bag anywhere. :( I guess she was missing Willy so much that she decided to leave in hopes to see Willy at her house. I guess these two were just not meant to meet each other just yet.

Poor, poor Willy is so sad that he missed seeing his Annie AGAIN!!

Good catch, JALB! :D We were wondering how long it would take someone to spot Willy there, and it sure didn't take you long at all! :D

We are having some nasty weather here and Annie's flight has been cancelled until, who knows when. So that smart little girl of yours' decided to head back to my place. The BEST part is that she doesn't know just yet that Willy is here. He has been sulking under my bed all day.

So she decided to have a chat with Chipper in his tote box. I told him and the rest of the boys to keep mum about Willy being here. All in due time.

Willy finally came out from under the bed and was still sulking about missing Annie. He went into the bathroom not knowing that his Annie was just a few feet away from him in the kitchen eating.

Well folks, I was trying to take pictures of their meeting, but when they finally saw each other, they were doing such a happy dance, that I couldn't get a decent picture. But once they settled down, which seemed like forever, I was able to capture this..............................

Well, when I told Willy, Annie had to leave soon, he headed back to the bathroom to sulk some more. Annie decided she must give her Willy one last Christmas gift. HERSELF!!!! She went into the bathroom to give him one last smooch behind his ear and told him not to be sad, as SHE will come back to see him another time. Hearing this, really perked him up, along with the last kiss.
