I need some help. My workplace has a mouse or possibly rat running around in it at night and I don't know if its the only one, but for the last week I've been feeding it.

Everynight before i go home I always lay down some food and water for it, because I work in a warehouse the mouse might get dehydrated. Anyway my boss and everyone plans on killing by rat poison or some other type of poison. I really don't want to see it die so cruelly, it is so mean. I can understand why they want it gone, because mice and rats can cause really bad problems and even cause fires by biting through wire.

So I was wondering if anyone here on pet talk has any ideas of how i could catch it live. Like a trap that won't hurt it, but will catch it, then I can set him free in a forest or could even take it to the vet to get shots. So if anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate them:)

you could get one of those human traps for small animals. We have one for mice.

I know when a friend's workplace had a problem with some mice, they used the Mouse Cube, I believe. You can find that or something similar in most all stores.

Here is how it works, basically:

Thanks so much guys! I am going to try them. I think I might actually be able to make that mouse cube thing out of wood and a hinge! I just hope I can get the mouse before my boss gets to it.
