Layla getting spayed tomorrow (Wed)

Layla is getting spayed tomorrow. Mommy is getting nervous. I know I will be pacing tomorrow. :rolleyes: Please if you will, keep her in your thoughts and/or prayers.

but do not worry mom- everything will be fine! Keep us posted when she comes home. Ask the vet for ID diet for the first day. Its easy to digest... ( its like in cans)... And remember not to let her over drink when she comes home at first. Anethesia sometimes makes them thirsty. I let them drink, then pick up the water and wait a half an hour.. By then the thirst has decreased.

It's always scary when they *go under* so we understand your concerns. I am sure all will go just fine though. :) The worst part is keeping the surgery patient quiet when there is another dog at home ready to play! :rolleyes:

I'm glad everything is going fine. I remember when I got my CC fixed, I was quite nervous. I even called the vet after a few hours just to see how he was doing.

aww! i hope everything turns out fine! I wish you luck! and your puppy luck! All you can do is try to calm down and just look forward to seeing her when she is done! My kitten Skyhla is getting spayed on January 26th! I'll be nervous too! but i should get going i wish you lots of luck! take care.

How is Layla today?

Thanks for asking Kay. Layla is fine. After a sleepy night and morning she has been quiet most of the day, but I believe by tomorrow she'll be ready to go. :rolleyes: In the house won't be too tough, but taking her out on a leash, *sigh*. She's not licking at her stitches much, she's being a good girl. :) I'll will most likely lose what is left of my mind before this is over. ;)
