Another Cat Show On Jan.6th & 7th

Hi, there's another cat show being held at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds on Jan. 6th and 7th.:) Here's some more info:

I just got an email from Linda asking if I would be ready to take Hunter that weekend! :D :D She'll be bringing him to the cat show, so yes...you'll all get to meet him in purrson! How exciting! :D :D

Still haven't decided on a name for him yet. :o

I also got a new digital camera for Christmas, so I'll have to test it out at the cat show.

I can't wait!!!!!!! :D

I have my church job on Sunday morning, but could come to the show around 1:00 pm. Saturday I've got an audition in San Mateo at 1:30, but I could come in the AM. :cool:

KAK, I'm learning the new functions on my camera also! I've been wanting one of my own, so I gifted myself with a new digital camera for Christmas. We'll have to compare functions! ;)

I looked at the website again and it doesn't say the hours that it's being held so I'm just assuming that it'll probably open between 9-10am and close between 4-5pm on Sunday. I wouldn't want to get there before 10am any way. This may also be the show that e-mails you coupons for the show if you're on their e-mail list. There will also probably be some coupons in the paper and The Metro.:) Since it's a much smaller show I'm sure we'll be able to find everyone. I can't wait.:D

I just got an email from the tailsandnotails mailling list. The show is Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm. If you print the email, you'll get a $2 off admission. Please let me know if anyone would like extra printouts of this email.

I think a 10am meeting time would work ok on Sunday. Like KAK said, it's a smaller show, so I'm sure we'd all bump into each other anyway. *snicker*

I also just received the e-mail with a $2 off coupon. It said if you want you can forward it to friends but they'll only receive $1 off.:) Okay, I'll try to be there by around 10am on Sunday. I know that Wolflady is very excited to see her new baby again.:)

I'm hoping to arrive in S'Vale noon-ish on Saturday.[Weather permitting] I'm hitting Pet Club to stock up on some goodies that they don't carry here locally. i.e. Livvy loves her Catsip/Lap Happy and I can't find it locally and the on-line source charges $3/box!!!

Anyway, I thought I'd do a little research on my book Sat. afternoon at the library.

I'm meeting Linda for dinner at Spoons. Other than that, my plans are fluid.

I'll try to get in touch Friday, or once I hit town.

Unfortunately Linda will not be able to make it to the show :( I was so excited about you all meeting Hunter, but she had something come up and can't come to the show this weekend.

I will still be getting Hunter though! After the show on Sunday, I'm going to meet her in Livermoore (about halfway for each of us) to pick him up.

Sorry I have to cancel for tomorrow. They're continuing with the retrofit construction on the apartment building and are doing major welding this weekend. The cats are freaked out and everyone has been put on alert as there is a high fire danger with this work. The workers are highly skilled so nothing should happen, but I don't want to take a chance. If anything happens I want to be home to make sure my kitties are safe. I know you'll understand. Have fun everyone and I'll catch up with some of you next month when Laurie is in S.F. - Georgia

Well, rats! My car started rasping and light shuttering as I was pulling out of town. I don't know what's wrong with it, but was too chicken to drive the car the way it was acting up all the way to the bay area. Dang.

So my cat show budget will be going into car repairs today. Major Bummer.
