Wandering over from the dog side ....

Do any of you know of any contacts/rescues/etc. in Wyoming for cats?

One of my customers started feeding a stay kitten this summer. Now he/she (don't know) is a big kitty, and won't leave her porch. Surprise, surprise. She is an elderly lady, and lived with her son. He passed away this week, and she is going to have to go live with one of her other kids or in a nursing home. She can't take the cat. It's awfully cold here in the winters, and she is very sad about the cat. Our one small shelter is full to over-flowing, with a waiting list.

It's a nice cat, very friendly, especially for a feral kitten. It's black and brown striped, with white on its chest and paws. I'm postive it's not altered or declawed or vaccinated. Something about it just grabbed my attention.

I know this is a long shot. Thanks for any effort and help.

I found a stray cat she is so cute. If your client get's somone to stay with her, then that person should sit with her when she get's fed. They should do that until the cat feels safe enough to be brought inside. But once that happens they should still continue to nurture the kitten.
