My cat, Angel, loves Christmas time for two reasons:
1.) presents
and two...
messing up the whole house!

Angel goes crazy. She climbs up the middle of the Christmas tree and sits on a branch all the way up at the top! She knocks Christmas balls off the Chritmas tree- okay, I know all cats do that but not like Angel. She plays with the cords under the Christmas tree. And on Christnas Eve, she scratches all the presents!

What should I do to make her stop all this bad behavior?

Thanks for the advice, everyone!

So I shouldn't worry about Angel. Christmas is fun for cats! Now I know I'm not the only one who has to deal with this on Christmas! LOL! :)

lvpets2002 where is the thread that Randi started about cats and Christmas? I would really like to see it! :D

I don't put up a tree because it is a big kitty toy, but I help my Mom decorate hers and I have a fun evening with the folks and we get into a holiday mood. It's a nice family tradition.

Yeah, same here. I haven't put up a tree in about 3 years, although there are still ornaments from the last time I did have one up floating around here yet! There's a crocheted stocking that they love to carry around, of course all the blue bows, and the fabric moravian stars as well. My one girl, Boris, literally jumped into the trees from couches and chairs and toppled them over... so, after a few days of picking the tree up each year, I'd just resigned to not putting one up again until they're a little more "refined" in their behavior, lol.

I just looked at this again - I have a moment because our server is offline - and I laughed out loud again! Lvpets2002, I'm not sure whether this is the one you meant in your post, though.

We also had a lot of fun with a New Year's Eve noisemaker, one of those coiled-up paper ones - blow it out, let it back in and watch kitty figure out what that was!?!
