Felicia update

[Felicia's Mom]

Felicia is not longer living with the man she once was. He is unable to care for her anymore. She is now with a younger man who has two other cats. Felicia doesn't get along with the other cats (which I expected), but she is eating ok.

I still haven't hear about Beau. :(

My goodness, Felicia sure is getting around. And as long as she is eating, and the othe cats don't PEST her, she will adjust to them. I am glad that you have been able to keep track of her.

As for Beau, I sure wish you could get an update. :( I am sure you are worried not knowing. Are you able to contact them?

If Felicia is not finding the right home, are you able to email a rescue in your area and ask them to find a quiet home for her? I know or local rescue will keep a look out for suitable homes for cat's that can't find the 'one' right place.

I'm sorry that you haven't had an update on Beau. It must be so hard not hearing how he's adjusting. :(

I'm so sorry to hear Felicia is not getting along with the other kitties, hopefully it's a matter of days and she will. At least she's eating. :)

I am so sorry to hear about Felicia- but I hope she will get along a little better. And eat enough so that she doesn't lose weight.

I hope that Felicia starts adjusting better to her new home. I'm sorry she's had to move around so much.:( I also hope that you'll be able to hear how Beau's doing. It must be very hard not to know what's going on with him.:(

Oh Nancy, it must be so hard for you :( I am pretty confident that Felicia will adapt, or will find a more suitable home. It's not easy, we have a kitty at the shelter who really doesn't like cats but loves humans! Although she is adapting (tolerating) very slowly to the presence of other cats we would like a quiet home without other cats for her. I am sure her turn will come, as for your Felicia.

We are crossing our paws for you, Felicia and Beau. ;)

Felicia will probably "tolerate" the other cats. I doubt if she will ever like them. She lived with Beau for 14 years and she only tolerated him.

I am glad that she has a home, with food and water. I was so sure I wouldn't be able to rehome her.

People tell me that Felicia is hard of hearing. I never noticed it, so she might be ignoring them.

Sounds just like an indepentant cat. She will let them know when their services are required.

Felicia seems to be a very versatile girl. I am sure she will settle nicely and "tolerate" the other furrybeasts in HER home.
