:( and it is ALL catnappers fault! :(
Sunday, I warned Kim to keep her germs away from my baby, but NNNNNOOOOO she had to smooch him all up. Now he doesn't feel well. He is not his happy self and he did not eat. And one of the babies threw up, I assume it was him.
I get so scared when little ones get sick, so I mixed up a good slurry and forced him to have some (syringe style). I am afraid. He's still so small, and so skinny. :(
Pray for him! What would Dale do without Chip? :(
Naw-tee catnapper. :p

We are certainly sorry to hear that Chip is under the weather.
The Pet Angels are sending Momma Cat Angel Karina to be with Chip, and nurse the Little One back to Health.
We hope Chips well soon.
Does this mean he and Dale are seperated?

Gary, my brain tells me to seperate the boys, but my heart can't do it. I don't want Chip to be alone. If Dale catches the cold, then we will treat them together. But it would be too sad to have them apart.

Poor little Chip. Hope he feels better soon.
It's hard, isn't it, to take your babies out to the world where they can get adopted, but be exposed to nasty germs?

I sure hope Chip feels better. I know you don't want to seperate them, but that would best. Just make sure Chip gets lots of water and stays in a warm area. Are you going to take him to the vet? Good luck and please keep us posted. Get better soon Chip!!

Poor little guy. I hope he gets to feeling better. Yes, I'd keep him w/Dale, even if it meant HE might get sick. Misery loves company, you know.

Just woke up and went to check on the babies. Chip seems much more normal, perky, running around.
I will offer canned food in just a little while, hopefully he will eat on his own.
Thanks for the prayers.
EDIT: Chip DID eat on his own this morning. So hopefully is was just a bit of an upset tummy and not a cold/flu.
I'm still paying close attention to him, though, just in case.

Yay chip is getting better already even before I had time to wish him a get well soon! Well done Chip. He probably has a weak stomach being so small.
Jack has a terribly weak stomach from where they were starving before I adopted them (sunny seems to be okay) and he's sick every now and again and goes off his food. But then back to his eating everything in sight ways almost straight away. Cats can be quite odd sometimes! :D

 Oh my!
Can humans pass along colds? If so, I am SO SORRY! :o
Oh Jen, I feel so guilty now. Is he truly sick? See, that means he just has to come live with Auntie Kim for a while, and we can recouperate together.

Those babies can give us a lot of worry sometimes. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope he was just wore out from his outing.

Aw, I hope the little one is all better real soon. Sometimes kitties get over heated from playing and just chuck up their food. Paws all crossed here for him! :(

Hope Chip is still doing better! I am sure that he was just overly tired from the adventure of the day.... as well as the Holidays! I mean we all get stressed at some point during the Holidays, right???? ;)

Can humans pass along colds?
Well my boss (head vet) was taught in school that animals catching a cold/flu from a human is not feasable, however in his experience he believes that it can happen at times, but usually with dogs mostly. He thinks most of the time it's either stress or alot of viruses in the environment at the time that would make an animal sick at the same time as a human, but not necissarily getting it FROM the human. Did that make any sense? lol

We are pleased that they are helping.

I'm glad he's doing so much better; maybe it was just a '24 hour' thing.
He has to be better for Santa Paws!!
