Oh my, fifteen years old and looking wonderful, Pinto! I thought I was seeing the re-creation of my precious Shrimp Boat, when I saw your picture. Her start in life was rough too, but like you, she found the right person to care for her, ME! :D

I also think your human was my kind of person....waiting until mom and dad went on vacation to make the move to instill you as a new member of the family!! What a great beginning! Hi there Pinto!! What a special bond you share with your loving Mommy Pinto! Sounds like something I would have done as a child.... Make it all official and settle you in as part of the family when the parents weren't looking!:D I'm sure all it took was just one look and they too, were hooked!! Pinto, another healing Animal Angel, aren't you!?!!! Your walks-on-two-feet mom was very wise in making sure you were invited in to stay!!!
You have an extremely beautiful coat, by the way. We also have a feline guardian who came to us almost 16 years ago - and has seen us through very stormy weather, with gentle paw and purr. Sometimes she will lay down next to me and put her paws over my forearm as if to say "Stop, rest with meee, pprrrrrrrrelax and let go". And I swear I couldn't get up if I had too, she has that powerful and calming an effect. She does similar things to Dadcat, too, when life gets him down. Thank God for you, and all your healing gifts. I know how your moms feel about you, and pray you will be with them for a very long time!!!

Hello Pinto! Congratulations on being todays wonderful COTD. And congratulations to your human family for giving you such a super, well protected life! Outdoor kitties are never safe...and your human is so right in limiting your time outside when your life can be threatened.

Pinto, your markings are wonderful! And, B&W Tuxedo babies have a reputation for being extremely sensitive to their humans' physical and emotional needs. You've obviously given back to your family all the love they've shown to you.
