Hi there beautiful Misty with the big brown eyes! You are such a darling little Pom girl:) You've got that unmistakable "foxy" look that is so endearing of your breed! I can tell by that loving look on your precious face that you are so thrilled to have found your way into the most wonderful forever home, complete with a furry sibling to chase and cuddle with! And your family was rewarded for their compassion and kindness by being blessed with the best furry friend a human could hope for!! I agree, rescue is the way to go! I know today is your very special day cutie pie. Sadly, we here on Pet Talk received some very upsetting news about one of our memebers' doggie family last night and so many may not get a chance to congratulate you today. Her name is Jackie and she has a heart of gold. Each and every day, without fail, she comes here to send her love and congratulations to each and every doggie honoree. I'm sure when they're hearts are not so heavy, many Pet Talkers will come here and tell you how proud we all are to have you honored as our very beautiful, sweet and precious Dog of the Day! Congratulations to you dear girl! I hope your day is bright and cheery, filled with love and all of the adoration you deserve! You are adorable!!

Oh Misty aren't you the petite little cutie pie! I am so sorry to hear about your first owner. I am sure he/she misses you terribly! :( It does seem though that you have found a wonderful new forever home with people who recognize what a special girl you are.

Sandra (Tats) is right when she says that if Jackie were able she would be here posting and congratulating you today little Misty. Unfortunately she is praying for her dogs who right now are fighting the biggest battle of their lives and we all at Pet Talk are praying hard right along with them.

We don't want put a damper on your special day though Misty so we wish you many happy years ahead and congratulate you today as our super duper Dog of the Day!

P.S. There is a little pom down the street from me who always comes out to greet my Bella (40 lb. standard poodle) as we walk by. He doesn't realize he is the smaller dog! :D

Sweet Misty is right...sweet and loving and a Dog of the Day if I ever saw one. Of course you have the most beautiful coat and a precious button nose but my favorite thing about you are those eyes like deep dark pools that reflect the very soul of such a loving creature that you are.
