I need sombody to care for my dogs in SFC or Oakland CA

I beleave when you get a dog it's for a lifetime comment. In saying this I have this problem.
My wife and I have a chance to move to the Oakland CA area for a new job. We now live in Phoenix AZ with our 4 dogs.
We need sombody with a large home or a farm to watch the dogs until we can find a home in the area. I do not want to take the dogs back to the Pound as they would put them to sleep the same day. We need a kennel that is resonable in price.
If anyone knows of a place where we could place for a week or two for a resonable cost in the bay area. Please let us know. We are running out of time.

call or write to bestfriends.org...they will have a list,ask your local vet or s.p.c.a.
also,phone books have kennels and bonded pet sitters....in their homes
hope that you find something soon....you haven't stated a reason for bring them to the pound....did i miss something???

We were goiong to take them to the pound as a last resort. BUT decided not to when we found out that since they were older dogs, they would be put to sleep.

gotcha....so glad to hear that....you might try to email aly...she works for a shelter in texas.....you can look her up on the user forum...or on an old post of hers.....she is always on the dog general,and rescue boards here......
try best friends...i know it is in utah,but they might have a better idea.....
