UPDATE on my chihuahua puppy leg.

I called the vet and we have and appoitment for 11:30 tomarrow was the earliest they can get him in but they did say the way i decribed it doesnt sound like anything too seriously. So I called our neighbor who works for a different vet's office and she said its not broken or disslocated but to still bring him in more then likely a charlie horse kinda thing or a pulled or strained muscle. I will post another after we see the vet but thanks a millon for everything deff put my worried mind at ease. He is my first dog and a chihuahua to that so I tend to worry about the little things sometimes.

I thought it might be a muscle strain too, but worried about offering an opinion that could also have been just as wrong. I have to take my dog into to check his legs all the time due to his medical conditions. I always come home with " well he is fine but so in so" but at least he went to the vet.
You and your little baby are in my prayers. It is probably just a strain but better to know for sure- especially with such a tiny dog. I am sure the screaming scared you to death. My guys are drama queens too. Its a frightening noise!

Julie, anything that makes our dogs hurt, regardless of the seriousness of the ailment, is reason for concern. Believe me, the people on this board understand your concern! This is good news, though. I hope that you will get a good report tomorrow.

Does anyone know the sysmtomps of the puppy flu..now I am leaning towards that is what my puppy might have. Either way he is going to the vet tomarrow at 11:30 for my peace of mind so I dont go craxy and to make sure he is fine THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND ANY ANSWERS YOU CAN GIVE----CHI HUGS-----
