I'm back at school from the week off. I was greeted by 21 healthy but hungry fishies. I wasn't sure if I'd see any casualties in the female betta tank because there are two new members, but all was well. I got two cellophane girls last weekend and neither had any problems from the others. Not even a fin nip. Tonight I picked up a new common goldie and a young tigerhead oranda. The oranda is bronze still, looks like he's going to turn soon to canary yellow with black spots. Only casualties I had over the week were two mystery snails. Darn things cost too much and are way too sensitive. I've got an ad in craigslist right now for pond snails, they seem fine in my tanks. Now I've got 8 bettas, 13 goldfish, 2 platies, and 4 loaches. Full house.
