What a tender and sensitive bird you are buddy..(my budgie was called buddy!)...i use to work in Nursing Homes and saw what a healing and therapudic impact cats/birds and dogs did for the residents..their faces would light up and the flush of a healthy red glow would shine from them...i can just imagine what you would have done for Steve when you climbed down to his arm and sat in front of him so he could see you...and the way the both of you just talked and bonded...how deeply precious (sob, sob, sniff)...let no person ever say that our animal friends are not intuitive and perceptive..they reach deeper and touch us in a very real way in our hearts and life!!!...God bless you Buddy :) ..may you and your owner have a bond that is tender and interpersonal...Jujuboy :cool:

Buddy is very pretty. I have a cockatiel named Sunny that looks just like Buddy. She has some eggs that should hatch in 5 days! The Thanksgiving story was so sweet. Buddy is a special bird.

My Dad had Alzheimers and I can agree that special little visits from sweeties like you, mean so much!!! That was about the only time I would seem him smile was when they had a special animal or feathered visitor.

Awww, Buddy! When I first saw your photo, I thought the pose to be one of a bashful, shy birdie. But upon reading how you interacted so wonderfully with Steve and brightened his life I realized that you are most personable, and would be a perfect Pet Therapy candidate. I hope your guardian will consider taking you to nursing homes that welcome pets, so that you can spread your charisma and charm to other folks in need of amusement and attention. Somehow animals have the power to touch people who have shut out relating to fellow human beings, and that is where you could work your magic, precious Buddy!
