Skin Problem

My dog has recently developed some kind of skin problem, I only noticed it the past week and have no clue what it is.

From what i gather... It does not hurt, only to touch it or disturb it. You can feel a small bump (about a loonie). When you part the hair, it looks to be scabby/black against the skin. It's position is the exact middle of her back.

When you touch around the area it seems to hurt a bit but not as much as if this one area is disturbed.

Can anyone please help me with this problem...

Sorry Brad I have no advice for you, have you called the vet? I would like to know what you find out. Someone here may know something though. What is your dog's name? :)

Thanks for your reply, My dogs name is Hannah.... She's a red/White Beagle.

This site looks like such a great resource, i'll be sure to visit it more in the future.
