If you've read the continuing post in Pet Health you know that Sebastian is struggling with adrenal gland disease and is not responding to the meds. I am worried about him now as his back legs fail him sometimes. I had to wash him off last night as he'd been in the litter box and was having leg issues and pooped all over himself. I'm going to call the vet and see what our next steps are, if there are any. Today, he's in the much smaller "I'm going visiting" cage as it's not so far from bed to the litter box. I'd like to ask for the powerful PT prayers that something can be done for my so sweet ferret. We had a lovely cuddle after I'd washed him up. I don't want to have to let him go, but I fear that is where we are headed. Thanks in advance for your good thoughts for Sebastian.

Aww Im so sorry that this is happening to poor sabastian and you. I will definately pray for your little ferret to get better. I know how it feels to have a sick animal and know it might die, its terrible, it feels like you can't do anything to help them. I will pray and pray that little sabastian will get better soon.

Thank you for your good thoughts for Sebastian.

Just off the phone with the vet. We're going to bump up his prednisone from 0.7 to 1.0 for a week. At our regular visit next Tuesday she'll give him a look see and we might bump up the pred some more. I sure hope this makes him less wobbly and shivery.

Poor guy.
Until my sister got Larry(her ferret.. he lives with us), I never thought of them as being the great creatures they are... they're truely remarkable beings.
I said that, in an attempt to say that I know how much ferrets mean to their owners, and vice versa.
Good vibes headed for your boy!
Give Sebastian a gentle hug for me, okay? =)
