My Min Pin has bad breath

Hi, I have a 9 month old female Min Pin. She has bad breath. What could be causing this and how can I fix it? :(

Have you taken a good look in her mouth to make sure there's nothing stuck in there, in her teeth or mouth in general?

There are some treats available to help with bad breath, but you might want to try brushing her teeth with some dog toothpaste available at pet stores.

If it's really bad and persistant; if it seems abnormal, you may want to phone your vet and ask for a bit of advice.

Yup - time for a vet visit and tooth cleaning - and for you and she to make it part of your routine, and then, if this is a new occurance, have you changed her food at all recently?
