I borrowed my grandparents camera so I could show you guys some photos of my new Betta - I've had him a week now. I bought him from Walmart. He didn't eat at all - until Friday, when I bought him some yummy Hikari Bio-Gold pellets!
He's my first Betta - let alone my first fish.
He's still nameless though, so suggestions are welcome!

Very nice looking fish, congrats! He does look very similar to my Atticus Fish (RIP :( ). I have a new betta as well, but I haven't posted a thread yet.
I like the name Flare for a betta.

He is such a gorgeus boy and I love his colors. He also looks a lot like my rip Brandon.
The only name I can think of right now (due to the weather) is Storm or Stormy.

His color is definitely pretty. Which reminds me, I should post latest pics of stardust already, soon I guess... :D

A handsome boy, looks like my Gulliver at a younger age, now he's getting lighter.

Hehe, thanks everyone! ^_^
I decided to name him Livius, in case some of you didn't see the other thread.
I never noticed a different in his colours from when he was in the cup to now, so maybe he's a happy-go-lucky guy! lol

Beautiful boy!
Just a tip: Don't buy from wal mart, their fish are usually unhealthy.

I actually find my walmart to have a decent supplier. Then again I'm an aquarium hobbiest and can easily deal with most fish illnesses I come across. I've really got little problem with walmart supplying fish.

My wal mart is the worse. Not to be mean, but a mentally handicap guy runs the pet section..there is always dead fish over there. I try not to support them.

He's a stunning beautiful blue! :D
Glad he has a nice home where he won't be looked at and picked up all the time like at Wal-mart.

Almost all fish stores have the same death rates, most just clean out the dead fish on a constant basis. Supplies who sell to stores in bulk generally do not have healthy fish.

Our Walmart isn't that bad - I have yet to see a dead fish.

If you're not trying to mean, then you shouldn't have mentioned it. It doesn't matter if he's mentally handicapped.
Several of my fellow co-workers are cashiers, and they're doing a better job than me!
