Please cross-post ~ If you know of Great Dane rescue/resources, please share them in Diamond's thread on the IMOM website.
IMOM (http://www.imom.org) is currently raising funds to help Diamond get surgery for her severe hip displasia. Diamond, a 16-month-old black Great Dane, is very sweet-tempered, gentle, and gets along great with kids and other pets. Diamond is currently in rescue with C.O.D.A., Cleveland Ohio Dog Advocates, who saved her from being euthanized due to her medical problems. Diamond has all the qualities necessary to find a permanent loving home and has passed all temperament tests with flying colors.
You can read more about Diamond HERE (http://www.imom.org/pin/gf/diamond-coda.htm)
You can follow Diamond's progress HERE (http://64.176.8.124/community/index.php?showtopic=2091)
If you have any experience with hip displasia or words of encouragement, I'm sure they would love to hear from you.
You can donate towards Diamond's treatment (or any other IMOM cases) HERE (http://www.imom.org/pin/donations.htm)
If you want your donation to go to Diamond, use the "Dedicated Donation" box and enter "EF - Diamond Coda" in the Comments field.
Estimated total needed: $3200 - $3400. Rescue can contribute $500. We need to raise $2700 to reach the low end of the estimate.
