Isis has some sort of worm. I get confused between the types so I am not sure which it is or where it came from, actually. Soni doesn't have them, neither does Bailey. Spanky had a fecal at her first vet visit here and tested negative for everything.

What I found was wiggly, about an inch long (could be broken off?), all white, no definable anything, really.

I dewormed her with the liquid stuff when she was a younger kitten but that was while we were in Oregon.

What would you recommend for deworming?

Could be tapeworms and you will need to get meds from the vet to get rid of those.

Drontal will clear up all kinds of worms. You should be able to get some from your vet.

I think Flagil is another de-worming med.

I agree with Karen, let the Vet recommend something. He knows best.

Definately the vet -- they will give you the meds that will kill the worms and expells them. The stuff at the pet stores merely expells the worms, and they can reinfect themselves later if they comes across the worms again. (or so thats what I've been told)

depends on how severely wormed isis is. an inch long ..? eeps, probably not wormtapes. getting flea treatment is another thing you could get, prevent tapes if those are.

moosmom, that's flagyl. ;) it's more likely for interparasites - like metronidazole which my cat, chance used to take for IBD (inflammatory bowel disease).
