Has anyone ordered from this place before? I keep getting e-mails from them - I probably signed up somewhere a long time ago. Boy was I  when I saw the difference in price for the Amoxycillin that Mishi is on. At my vet I pay about $26 a month for a dose (Mishi is on a pulse treatment program for his kidneys where he's on the Amoxy drops 7 days a month) although I'm highly suspicious of their pricing as it seems to change from month to month and it's not going down. At PetMeds the SAME thing is only $6.49! Even with S&H the cost is around $10! What a savings! Are these guys legit? They did ask for my vet's name and phone number, so I'm guessing they're going to check to make sure I have an prescription (which I do).

Entirelypets doesn't have tne Amoxy drops. I ordered from PetMeds. I'll report back on the service and quality.

PetMeds is legit. When I worked at Gilroy Vet, we had several clients who used this service. We had to fax them (PetMeds) the prescriptions, so PetMeds knew is was a valid prescription request, especially if it was for meds like prozac or prednisone.

They have everything! :)

Just make sure you check the expiration dates on any meds you ordered. My rescue group had a scrip for distemper shots that we ordered through some mail-order house, and the shots were expired! I can't remember which, but I don't think it was Petmeds.com.

Some interesting information from FDA and other sources on mail order medications.

*We have actually had this mail order scenario happen many times at our hospital, as well as the pharmacies dispensing anyways without a prescription and for animals we have never even seen before!!
