i love my little kitty shadow but she is tearin up my house. I dunno what her problem is. She will use the kitty litter n all but ill always find that she shit somewhere and its getting annoying. My dad says if she keeps it up we gotta get rid of her. Her litter is clean and all i always make sure its not too dirty or anything. What is the cause of this? Or how can i fix it, i dont want to get rid of her =/ oh and could it be that shes not fixed yet? proll not

How old is she? How long have you had her?

ive had her for about 3 months now. not positive on how old she is but shes old enough to know where to find the litter now

I'd have a talk with your vet - even just over the phone, to see if her not being spayed might have something to do with her behaviour.

Has she had a vet checkup? She might have worms or something minor irritating her that could be causing her crazy behaviour and pooping in odd spots.

Give them a call. Try posting this in Cat Health, in case someone else there knows something.

A vet check would be the first thing to do.

And I think I would be looking for a way to contain the kitty for a while. Maybe a cage with a litter box. She would be reluctant to mess where she lives. Maybe you can borrow a large cage from a shelter if you can't buy one. Sometimes too much freedom isn't good for kittens. Once she learns to use her litter box in the cage, she'll be more likely to use it when she's allowed out.
