What a very pretty boy you were sweetheart. We know how much your family misses you. You touched their lives profoundly while you were here. May you Rest In Peace. Your family can smile when they know how hard you're playing and chasing squirrels at the Rainbow Bridge.

Love, Terry, Daisy, and Delilah

Thanks for sharing his story with us. :) I love Dorothy's words, 'Your sweet footprints are tapping into Hearts Today ...' :) Your little guy was certainly a cutie patootie. I'm sure that he's forever in your heart and the hearts of all who knew him. :)

Grits....I am so sorry to hear about Grits. I know how much you can love an animal. I have three and they are like a members of my family. They are the children I never had. Grits was so handsome. He had a beautiful white coat.

I am so sorry about Grits. He was so cute. He looked like a sweet little guy, and it looks like he would let you do just about anything with him--I love his shirt!

I had a collie that I got when I was 7, and I had her for 10 years. I was extremely close to her, and I was her favorite person in the world. We went every where together. I still miss her, and it's still hard to realize that she isn't here anymore. She went to the Rainbow Bridge August, 2005.

Your precious Grits is waiting for you at the Bridge. He has everything he needs--food, water and all the toys to keep him happy until you both reunite again.

Take Care,
Genny

So true Dorothy. Grits was a beautiful pup. Beautiful soul & sweet & dear
companion. There is no replacement for a friend like that, ever. There are
others we have yet to meet that would love to be a part of a loving family
and I hope with all my heart that Grits shows them the way to another
pet who waits to meet them. Rest In Peace dear boy. :(

Precious Grits...Your human's heartfelt words bring tears to my eyes and we thank your Mom for sharing her beautiful boy, her cherished memories with us. What a special furkid you were...so handsome, so gentle, so joyful. We all have been there, experienced that tragic loss and know how deep is her love, how everlasting the pawprints upon her heart. Your family was so blessed to have shared your loyal companionship, your joy, your unconditional love those many years, sweet boy. And while her heart must ache, I hope she can find some comfort in the knowledge that one day, in the diistant future, you and she will be reunited and what a happy day that will be. Until then, continue to send down your love to her from the Rainbow Bridge, precious Grits! And of course, keep up the good work chasing down those pesky squirrels!;)

Bless you beautiful Grits. And a heartfelt ***hug*** to your Mom and your family~
Love, Sandra

Grits, you were a beautiful little "pup"! What a joy you were to your family! Hugs to them.
Wow, you lived a long time with bladder cancer. I lost my Shiloh almost one year ago (on Halloween) after only a two week ordeal from diagnosis to death. Hopefully she is romping around with you at RB.

To Grits' human, (((Hugs))) on your recent loss. Grits was an adorable little guy and we can tell that he was a fighter too. I am so sorry that he has left you but hope that day by day the pain will lessen a little. Many of us have gone through this and we know how hard it is to lose such a special friend. My brother has a little Westie girl and I can tell you she won my heart from the first day I met her. I hope that in time you might want to share some memories of Grits and even a picture or two. We are a very caring community and would love to have you join us.
