My kitty Smudge is prone to dry skin, so I got him some of Warren Eckstein's "Hugs & Kisses" treats that are supposed to help him absorb the nutrients that he needs (he's already taking 3V Caps, or Kitty Treat as he thinks of them). He's not crazy about the Hugs & Kisses treats, but he'll eat them crumbled over his kibble and squirted with "Kitty Treat." Has anyone else tried these treats? Did they cut down on your cat's itching? They're pricey, but I sure would like Smudge to stop getting itchy eczema patches (and scratching the meow out of them) so I figured I'd give them a go, but supposedly it takes a while to see a difference.

Love, Columbine

I've never heard of them before. These sound interesting.:) My Storm has always had some dandruff but now that he's been eating his Royal Canin Urinary S/O wet food his coat is doing much better. It has a lot of moisture in it so I guess it's doing it's thing. I've also noticed that all of my other cats feel a lot softer now too even though most of them only eat the dry form of this.

I hope that your cats skin will improve with this.:)

I am using Avo Derm food, specially formulated for skin and coat.

My cat's fur is so much softer and shinier I can see that it makes a difference.
