I thought we had had a thread like this before but when I searched it I couldn't find it, so I thought we could start one! So anyway, if you don't know how to play, what you do is provide info on a certain breed of dog and people try to guess it by the info you have given. If you guess it correctly, you give the information on the next breed of dog. Okay, here's the first!
My height ranges between 25-30 inches in males and 23-27 inches in females. Weight can range throughout 145-185 pounds. White on the chest and feet is acceptable for my breed. Our coats are short, hard, and shiny. We are affectionate and are very protective for our family. We love kids! Intact males of our breed tend to not tolerate other adult intact males. Our learning rate is high but we have low stanima and endurance, we perfer light excersize. And we perfer to be close to our family. One of our common health issues is cherry eye. Our country of Origin is Italy. People know us for our jowls and lovingness.
Good guessing^^

I would say Greater Swiss mountain dog.
Can you guess this one- they are over 34 inches high at the shoulder, but only 100 pounds. Although all colors are accepted, most are mostly white with a single color like white with black or white with brown. They can run easily 35 mph with a long coat, and run for miles without getting tired unlike a grayhound... They dont bark, dont wag their tails and have long coat as adults..

ohhhhhhhhhhhh okay how is this- the breed is very small, used a guards in china but small enough to hide in sleeves of the empires. Other breeds were outside to sound the alarm, and this ones job was to alert inside. The breed is heavier in the front as it was the most opening in the sleeve, long haired, and expected to be admired and constantly groomed.. What am I?

I'm going to have to say Pekingese, I heard something like that if my memory is thinking of the right breed.

BINGO!!! Very good- your turn... :D
Often called "stubborn," but I prefer independent and a fun challenge. Some owners complain about the hard coat. Hardy little dog, and not recommended to homes with young children. It is said that the color was chosen after a hunting accident.
Should be an easy guess. :D

Texture, though there are owners that will say "rolling the coat" is hard work.

A puli? ( rolling coat, ...)
Westie (west highland terrier)
:D
Little info on what I meant by the color (I didn't say it in the best way):
How the Westie came to be selectively bred for his white coat is an interesting legend. The short-legged terriers of Scotland are now recognized as the Scottish, Skye, Cairn, Dandie Dinmont, and West Highland White Terriers. All undoubtedly descend from the same roots. All of these dogs were valued as intrepid hunters of small game. Originally, their coat colors ranged from black to red to cream or white. Colonel Edward Donald Malcolm, of Poltalloch, Argyllshire, Scotland, is generally credited with breeding the white dogs true, although he took none of the credit unto himself. He had kept a pack of light colored working terriers for hunting. As the legend goes, a reddish dog of his, emerging from cover, was mistakenly shot for a fox. Malcolm is said to have decided on the spot to breed only for white dogs that could be readily identified in the field.

Okay lets try another one- this should be easy.. ( I think..)..
Okay- originally a herding breed, to herd sheep or multipurpose herding, also had to have the ability to protect the flock from wolves, as well as protect the owner from intruders on the farm or even taking the flock into town to market. They had to be able to track loss sheep, and be hearty enough and healthy enough to perform different tasks around the farm.
