This little addition was dropped on my door step about five days ago. A lady asked me to take her, I said no due to the ringworm. Well, here she is. She is very sweet but she is a special kitty. She has Feline Eczema. She has to have a vasoline type lotion put on her twice a week. She has very thin fur and very pink skin. She is a lover though. Very playful and sweet as can be. Here are some pictures of her. She is looking for a fur-ever home. But until then, she will be here.
This is Mackenzie.

Oh Tracy, bless her little heart. Her skin looks really sore, is she in any discomfort at all? She certainly looks the curious happy type, she's lovely. I so hope she can find a loving home to give her the love and attention she needs, I'd take her in a heartbeat if I was near.
Is the condition going to clear up or is it something that will be permanant for her?
I guess that she couldn't have been treated straight away for it to get that bad on her feet :(
I know there will be plenty on here who will fall in love and maybe just maybe take her :)

That kitten just reached out and stole my heart away! :)
She is really beautiful and I love her little bunny butt.
I wish she could be ours. :(

What a sweet little girl! Tell us more! Is it permanent or will it clear? She looks like she has been declawed, and her tail docked? What more do you know about her? Good thing you took her in!
Aww, I love the new photo of her you added!

She might be a Manx.
I think there is a special food for skin and fur...I wonder if that would help? Or a bit of Omega 3 oil?
She is DARLING! What a cutie-pie!
HUGS to the little one.
I hope a treatment can be found for her that doesn't involve all the ointment.
Prayers that she will heal, and that the remaining ringworm will go away also. :)

She is a cutie ..... and oh such pink, sore skin! I hate to put a downer on this, but are you sure all of your ringworm is cleared out of the house? I'd hate for her to get ringworm itchies on top of that already sore skin. ;)
Thank you for helping her out!

poor sweet baby, she looks so sore and tender. I hope will be able to get her skin back to healthy so she may find a wonderful home .

I do not believe that Mack has any discomfort, but when we pet her, she seems to be in heaven!! It must feel really good on her dry skin. She more then likely will have it her whole life....but I am hopeful she will out grow it.
Mack has her tail, in that pic, she had it on her side. She is not declawed either, her paws are just very pink. The old owner told me, when we spoke before all this happened, that she applied the cream every couple of days, but I am not too sure. I am taking her to the vet next week to see if there is anything else we can do for her. She is too sweet. I hope somebody adopts her and gives her the love she needs...until then, we will do that for her. Here is another picture of Mackenzie.
As you see here, she is very playful. She just got done attacking my cat Midnight...he is so patient with her!! But she is too much for him and he decided to hide under my bed!!

She sure is adorable.:) I hope that her condition is only temporary and that she'll be able to find a new loving forever home very soon. What was the reason the woman gave you for giving her up?

Well, the lady had a total of four kittens. I had helped her find two of them homes. One went to her uncle's friend, and that leaves Mack. Nobody wanted her due to her skin condition...stupid reason if you ask me. So she ended up here....very unexpectedly. I ddin't want to take in any more kittens/cat till the ring worm was gone. But things happen for a reason I suppose.

She is very sweet...but by no means innocent!! She likes to play with socks and my kids' underwear!! Mack loves to instigate the dogs as well. She is always chasing Coco (our little Chihuahua mix rescue). But her sweet side out weighs the devil side!! Mack loves to cuddle at night...after her fun is done! She sleeps right next to my head or next to my side, under the blankets of course. She has the sweetest meow...more like a squeek. I call her mouser due to that. Mack's purr is so loud too. She will be a great pet for the right person.
