Ha. Another member to add to the fish family here at my house! =D
I went to Petco today (to get toys for my birds & rats) and found myself in awe at the selection of bettas they had today. I was surprised to see much more than VTs & CTs! They had around 4 SDs and 2 HMs, but none caught my eye such as the handsome guy I bought(he wan't the best looking, but he had that face that made you notice him above the others).
We had many more errands to do, so I hid him behind numerous other bettas so that it would be hard for someone to find him and to buy him before I could come back. ^__^ I really wanted him!
Eventhough it was pouring down and freezing, I still went back for him.
And there he was waiting for me! =D
I haven't had a new male betta join the family for such a long time, and I doubt I'll get many(if any) bettas at all in the future as long as I have my little flock I have at the moment.

I don't expect him to keep such the vivid white color he has now, as fish tend to change color a bit once home. I don't care what color he is.. I just love his personality! He likes to pose for the camera and always greets you at the front of his tank. He's been flaring at Cadbury(one of my other male bettas) ever since he's been put into the 2g.
He's adjusted so well... infact, he's adjusted faster than any other of my bettas I have(which is now, my betta count is around... 15?).

<3 !!

I won't be able to be on PT for the next two days. :/ So no more pictures until Sunday. Hopefully Mo's pictures will do you over until then. ^__^ Sunday I hope to have new pictures of both the mice & the birds... hopefully!

WOW! He almost looks irridescent! what a fascinating color.

You said you have 15. SO . . . you have 15 separate fish tanks?

Also, could you please explain all those letter you used to describe different bettas? I have owned bettas - just one at a time! - but I don't know all those letters. SD, HM, VT and CT. ??? :confused: Thanks.

SD, HM, VT and CT. ??? :confused: Thanks.

South Dakota, Herman Munster, Vermont, and Conneticut. ;)

Just kidding... I don't know what SD is but I belive the rest are Half-moon, veil-tail, and crown-tail. *I think.*

Mo is beautiful and looks pretty close to my Kyle. Kyle's body is golden rather than white and his fins have a touch more pink.

Pretty fish!

I have 11 seperate tanks. 10 male betta tanks and 1 female tank with five females occupying it. =D

No problem.
SD= Super Delta
HM= Halfmoon
VT= Veiltail
CT= Crowntail

It describes the shape/type of tail they have.
