Just wondering for those of you who have pitbulls...
When people ask what kind of dog it is, do you just say Pit Bull or do you say American PitBull Terrier? Or just APBT? Or...???

I said American PitBull Terrier today and someone looked at me like I had 3 eyes. Then the light went on & they were like, "Oh, a pitbull."

No point. Just wondering.

One of my dog's is actually part pit bull. When people ask what she is, I say a lab pit-bull mix. If I feel like having a longer discussion, I also add the sharpei in there. Her "breed" is long enough as it is, adding the American and the terrier would force me to pause, "mid-breed", for an extra breath.
