I haven't read the books but the movie wasn't my cup of tea.

I was never entirely impressed with the book, I agree it's very cleverly written but it is not the type of storyline I generally like ;) The film was amazing though, the special effects were spectacular and I definitely recommend that.

I love the books, and did like the movie as well. I first read "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" and it wasn't until several year later that I discovered that it was one of a series! I was thrilled!

I read one of the books ages ago, so I don't remember much except that I liked it. I loved the movie. I'm a fan of C.S. Lewis anyway, and I liked the religious aspect of it. :)

I haven't read nor seen it. =D Though I can't say I hate it.
So I'm undecided!

I voted Hate but I don't hate them there just wasn't a "It wasn't something I really enjoyed" category.

other- when I was in 2nd and 3rd grade I read the books and loved them. I liked the movie (despite almost throwing up due to flu) and I'm indiferent about the books now. I should make a thread like this about Wicked (which I LOVE)

I could never get into the books as a kid, and I actually had to read The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe recently for my Children's Lit class.

I can't really say that I'm a fan because I don't plan on reading any of the others but I didn't dislike it. :) Just not my thing exactly. I thought that Aslan was fabulous in the movie but I thought the battle seen was way too drawn out and boring.
