Cats and sports?

Ugh,
I sit down to watch a sporting event.
I move around quite a bit. I lean forward, jump up and move about the room.
I lean forward for one play and as I shift back on the recliner
I almost squash the kitty.

“Dude, get off - I was here first…“Hokay….sleep on the armrest.”

A few minutes pass and I cannot get up from the chair.
I look down and this is clear-

How did that cat get on my lap?

When I sat down a few minutes ago there wasn’t a cat in my lap.
There wasn’t a cat in the area...
I wanted a snack – instead I got a cat on the lap!
Snoring to boot!
How long do cat naps last????? :rolleyes: :confused:

Oh cat naps can last a very long time! I don't know about Ed, but if I try to move a little to encourage Samantha to get off my lap, she digs her claws into my leg and tells me to forget about moving!
