Another of Moxie - my sweetheart.

For anyone curious what Pops may look like when he grows up this is his Dad - Big Gray.

My sister has decided to not take one so I'm back to finding homes for all three. As much as I would love to keep one I just don't think it's a good idea. My guys are stressed and fighting among themselves even though I'm keeping the kittens in a room away from them. Poor old Ripley is suppose to stay stress free with his kidney failure. I just think one more cat would be too much for this little house.

I think Moxie would be okay by herself but Pops and Twinks seem more bonded and play together so well. Of course they would be okay by themselves.

Please, someone adopt these little guys. I will deliver if not too far away. If I don't find homes soon I will have to start begging the local rescues to take them in. :( This is actually starting to depress me.

AWWWWWWWW!!!!! Lori, they are all so darn adorable, especially that darling little face on Moxie. :D

You say that your cats are stressed out because of the kitties being locked in the room. What if and this is a big "IF", you decided to take one of the kitties and hold it on your arm while walking around the house like I did with Willy and then slowly let the others, one by one, smell it's widdle butt. This will hopefully ease their curiousity.

I'm sorry to hear that your sister backed out on taking one of them. :(

I pray that they all find forever homes soon.

The Found Cats all think that they like Pops, that that Little Kitten would have a great home in the Found Cat Hotel.
I just wish I wasnt so far away.
I could see Pops and the Kitten Trio having the time of thier lives.

Lori, they are all so precious! I can easily see how you could become attached. I know too well the feelings you have of anxiousness, worry, and sadness all at the same time when "going home" time draws near. I pray that good homes will come along for them soon!

It would be a hard decision to make if I could be so lucky.

As cute as can be!!!!!!!!

Your best bet is to find a rescue group NOW who will help you find homes for these babies!! If you tell them that you can KEEP them as fosters (at least for a while) they will be so much more able to help you. They should be able to post their photos on their website. Maybe even allow them to come to an adoption event of theirs. Start getting help NOW before it is "the last minute".

Good luck!!!!!!

Jen had good advice. I understand why you're reluctant to turn to a rescue organization. But they can probably post the kitten pictures on Petfinder and hopefully they'll be adopted right out of your house.

My three foster kittens were adopted out of my spare bedroom and went to loving, permanent homes. I get e-mail updates!

If nothing else, they can probably be shown at an adoption event when you can go meet the prospective parents.

It's how many kittens and cats find loving homes. It's a good thing. :)

Jen - I was already hoping for that so I called one of the big rescue groups here and left a message. So far no one has called but I'm not surprised. No one ever returned my messages for help trying to trap the mom. I'm going to try a couple more rescues tomorrow and I'll email too. I'll let them know I will foster I just need help getting exposure and placement.

I have a slight prospect for a tuxie. My sister's daughter in law is interested but right now isn't the best time for her to take on a new kitten so it's a stretch and I'm not going to count on it.

-*sobs*- I wish I coudl take one!! They all look SO CUTE!!!
That Moxie is just adorable!
But I can't... for a couple of obvious reasons, one, can't afford it, I'm still living with my dad! And two... well... We kinda live on opposite sides of the country, and i suspect that would be just a teensy bit to stressful for a kitten!

BUT THEY ARE SO CUUUTE!!!

They sure are adorable.:) I'm sorry to hear that your sister won't be able to adopt any of them.:( It sure would be great if another Pet Talker could adopt at least one of them. I sure hope that you'll be able to find wonderful loving homes for them. Please continue to keep us updated about them.:)

I surely hope Big Gray is going to get the big snip, so he doesn't produce more offspings!

I would love to take one of your kittens, but I am "full up" - and have been wondering how it happened! Four cats is two too many. But I love them all.

I bet someone will fall in love with these kittens. The gray one is my favorite.

Big Gray belongs to someone in my neighborhood but I still don't know who. He's been visiting my backyard frequently the past few weeks. If he were mine he would be fixed (and not outside). Knowing some of the people in my neighborhood I would be told off for suggesting he be fixed.

Is there some way for me to get one from there to here? I would love to adopt one from you. My husband fell in love with the grey one . It reminded him of his from his childhood. I dont know how I would get it here though.

I wish! Knoxville, TN to Corpus Christi is a long way. According to mapquest it's over 1100 miles and a 17 1/2 hour drive one way. I sure wish we had a way to get him to you.

How about putting a collar on Daddy cat with a note: "Your beautiful grey boy produced three of the most gorgeous kittens with my female. Would you like one?" Add a phone # (maybe a cel)

Gee....could you sue for Kitten Support??? :)

That's how I got one kitten when I was a kid. Our tomcat, Ginger, lived in a town with us where there were no vets - Inuvik NWT. A vet did arrive, but not before Ginger had 'befriended' a lovely Persian girl a few houses away.

My sister and I didn't know the girls well, but we called in on occasion. We were all the same age, just little girls - so when one of them handed us a tiny ball of orange fluff, and said it was for us because our cat was the daddy, we ran home, SO excited!

Mom and Dad were a little nonplussed, but we got to keep him. Ginger was a great daddy - I think I have a pic of little Cinnamom curled in the same half-moon shape as his dad! He got groomed by Dad too.

Sorry, I digressed - but thinking of kitten support reminded me of the partial custody of fur-family!

Catty - not only would I like to do that with the Dad but also with the momma cat. She's not mine either. I'm not sure if she belongs to someone or is a stray.

As for putting a note on Dad that would require being able to touch him which has yet to happen. He won't let me within 10 feet of him. The momma cat is even worse, runs at the site of me in the window. Very frustrating.

Well, the truckers network didn't work for me because I needed a cat ride from the SE to the PNW, but it should work across the southern states. In fact, the one trucker I corresponded with individually was doing frequent runs in and out of Texas. Here's the email contact for the network:

They are SO adorable, Lori. I sure wish I could take all three....but no such luck. What I was really thinking was Killearn Kitties needs a gray boy to add to her 3 gray girls. Karen, are you out there? Jen has experience with shipping kitties overseas..... ;) :)

If they are that untouchable - maybe they don't belong to anyone? How could they?

Any chance of doing a TNR with them? Is there a free or low-cost clinic around?

If you feel inclined, Google "free spay and neuter in ____________(name of your state). The results just might surprise you!

those kittens are really pretty... wish i could have pops cause i like her smokey grey color but I think it wouldn't be possible for me to get there since I am most likely a thousand miles away from tennessee...But I sure hope that you'll find permanent homes for them..they really deserve some TLC...
