has anyone else here on pettalk ever bought any of those cat towers from Ebay? did you like them? I bought 2, and I like them pretty much, and the kitties do. I was just wondering what others thought of those...I think I bought them too soon tho, because theres some really different ones out there that I have seen since buying them.

I shop on eBay alot, but I never got something so big before (I don't even want to imagine how much shipping would be for something like that)!

Oliver does have something similar to that... I'll see if I can dig up a pic of it somewhere later. He loves it :)

I've never shopped at ebay but I've heard that you can get a lot of things for reasonable prices. Good luck if you try this.:) I got my cats a tower for free. Someone in my building was throwing it out. It has gray carpeting and it looks practically new. They also have two other large scratching posts. You can see part of them in this picture. I bought these at Petco but they were fairly expensive. My babies are worth it though.:)

KAK, to me it is amazing what people throw away. Although I might be considered a "junk collector". But if you are constantly looking for lumber and other re-usable goods, the junk pile is the best place to find such stuff. Last month we had a neighbor who was remodeling his house. He gave us a pick-up truck full of lumber, doors, siding, glass windows, and molding. He had it all ready for the trash truck to pick it up. 'Shame on him!:D
