My dog is a male japanese spitz. He is almost 3 months now, He didn't touch his food since last night and i saw him throw up too. He is not the usual playful snowball. This morning, i just saw him lying down and whenever I call his name, he just wiggle his tail and would not stand up and play with me. His food is pedigree for pups I dont give him anything else. I also feed him milk often. What seems to be the problem??? I dont want the vet here in our community, many homeowners complain and he's got a lot of cases of dogs died in his custody. What should i do? pls pls help! thank you!

Can you drive him to another vet? Bring him in and tell them its an emergency.

Don't wait another minute. Get him to a vet. Have you checked his stools for worms. If the worms get to bad he will be very sick at his age.

No more milk - many dogs are lactose intolerant. Get him to a vet, find a different one if possible. Poor little snowball!

Please take Snowball to another vet as soon as you possibly can. I agree with Karen too, no more milk. Milk may not be agreeing with him at all. Please let us know how he's doing. Good luck. I hope he gets to a vet and gets better soon.

so sorry to hear your beloved baby isnt feeling good...

you know your dogbaby , if you think that he isnt just feeling bad due to an upset stomach......than please find another vet in your area, and bring him asap..
you should find a vet in your area anyways, that you can trust..
as being a furbabies caretaker, you will need them from time to time..

many common pet foods contain animal bone and byproducts from euthanized animals and are very unhealthy for our furbabies...
also ones with grain products as their main ingredient are bad also...

the healthiest pet foods on the market today are
wellness and doctor fosters....
no by products, grain products as a last ingredient.....

holisitcally, if you give your dog some live culture yogurt ,
it will help immensely if he is not feeling well due to an upset stomach

Wellness and Dr. Foster's aren decent foods but not the healthiest on the market.....there are many foods as good or better.

Like others have said, please take your dog ot another vet, he could have a blockage, and also stop giving milk all the time, dogs really aren't designed to digest it on a regular basis and as was mentioned, they can be lactose intolerant.

Here try that link, it will explain things better than I can. There is an indepth reveiw of ingredient lists, pros and cons, and the whys of lots of different foods, including wellness and foster's and smith, and the star factor is basically based on ingredient lists. It's not perfect but makes it much easier to compare foods. Wellness and F&S are good foods, but there are several that are as good and some that are better, although every dog is different and what works best for one may not work the same for another, even in high quality foods, just like people, but based on "healthiness" of the food, if that's what you are comparing, with ingredients etc, this will give good comparisons. In fact the Wellness is rated a better food than the Foster's and Smith's.
