Thanks, Monica! And thank you everyone else. Yeah, well.. There's been about 9ish (?) robberies in our whole neighborhood. We have a suspect, and everyone is looking for this guy. Everybody is also doing a neighborhood watch type thing. We talked to our neighbors last night, and the robbers took most everything they had and the WOW thing about it is the person actually sat down, cooked, and ATE in their house! :eek: I'm still hoping that somehow this person was stupid enough not to have hacked into my computer, because it did have a password on it. I keep hoping that we'll somehow miraculously get it back. I hope this *&^%$#@ who robbed all these people gets caught soon, and I hope nobody else has to endure (sp?) everything we've went through. It's been bad, but the good thing is I do have my animals, my mom, and we weren't home. So again, thank you to everyone on here for your prayers, support, and everything else you have offered. It means alot to me and my mom, as well as the pets.
Oh yeah.
ETA: My vet volunteer job is going great! I have in 31 hours, only 9 to go. It's fun working with all the animals, and I even have fun cleaning! (:o) It's heartbreaking though to watch the animals that are sick. There's been SO many Parvo puppies.. Also, I've been through about 5 or 6 euthanasias. I don't handle them very well, and if one is occuring I usually leave the room. Other than that, it's good. It's probably about the only thing in my life going right.. :(.

Just a sidenote for next time- It was a burglary (sp?) not a robbery. ;) A robbery is when they hold you up with some type of weapon asking for money etc. And a burgulary is when a burgular somehow breaks into your house when your not home and takes things.

Roxy's birthday is in 15 days, she'll be 5, and she has been staying inside a bunch more. Although I still haven't convinced my mom to the full extent of her being a house dog, she is allowed in any night she wants to. Plus, my mom lets me bring her in the living room :D. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of Tink's death, and I wore her collar as a bracelet. I was going to make a memorial thread, but I'm somewhat at loss for words. So, again, I thank each and every one of you, as does my mom, for all the prayers, support, and other stuff. Oh, and..I will be getting a new laptop for Christmas, so expect me back then, hopefully. I love you all and miss you all!

They're all good. Gizzie's birthday was October 24, and we think she's mentally retarded ( :rolleyes: ) but that's another story :D. Yeah, and I love my volunteering! It's going really well.. (on a side note, what's being boo'd mean?)

Okay, good news!! I'm at school at the moment, and I shouldn't be here.

My mom got a job! She likes it, and she has a guaranteed position there. She's been working since last Thursday. Today is my last day of school until January 3 or 2nd something like that.

Roxy has free-roam of the house when she's inside, and she loves it! It's unusually warm here though, so she hasn't been in as much as normally during Winter.

Lily is fine. She's finally growing her hair back, and she's cute as always, lol.

Skye is good.

We're trying to rehome Gizzie. Please, don't get mad at me. She isn't right for our family, and she's destroying everything. AND yes, we've tried everything ot keep her. It's just not working and we can't keep her. We are working on getting a Persian kitten. No, I'm not replacing Gizzie. I think we decided too soon to get another cat. My mom is working, and we need a cat more suited for our life. Please, don't get mad at me; You don't know Gizzie and how horrid she is sometimes; But, I will find her a good home before I get my kitten.

The bettas and Dipstick are also good.

I miss you all so very, very much. I'm getting a desktop for Christmas, along with a printer (YAY, and I'm not supposed to know :o :D *smiles innocently*) Heh. So, yeah. It will still be a bit before I'll be back here though. Our internet bill is around $205, so my mom has to save a bit for that. She said that was her first priority though, and she's getting it as soon as possible.

Thank you to every single person who's prayed for us and kept my hopes up. I do love you all, and I'm so glad that we're getting back on track.

I also forgot to add, that over the time while I was gone, I did get another betta, but it was a little too late for her :(. Her name was Tia Dalma, and she was white, but not opaque. She was cute and I loved her to bits, but she sadly died. I think she might have had ich or something, but ah well. She had a short-lived life, but a happy one.

Alicia! Aww, I miss you alot too. Two new kittens? No fair, lol.

Soooo, I came back with a very happy update :D. My mom got a new job through the staffing agency she was working with, and now she's making a buttload more money! So, the internet is in my very, very near future :D:D. Yes, I'm excited lol. As for the pets.. Roxy is fine. She's been coming in every night for the past several weeks because it's uber cold. So, yay! Lily's good, but we're having problems with her food. She won't touch the dry, so every single sample we buy of dry food goes to Roxy. (and we've been buying all of Lily's food from the natural pet supply, so yay for Roxy!) But, now she's on only canned.. and she seems to like it, but she'll get tired of it again :rolleyes:. Skye is doing good.. she's the only good cat we have. GIZZIE. Oh my gosh. She still is with us, amazingly. She's getting alot WORSE. She shreds the toilet paper, she's ruined a jacket of mine, she won't use the litterbox, and she's just.. a mess! I hate talking bad about her, and in some way I love her.. I guess it's just a natural thing.. but she's getting so bad.. and it's getting harder and harder for me to not have the urge to throw her out the door! (I would never do that, but with her behaviour, I feel like it. But I never really would do that :() If anybody has any suggestions.. I would LOVE Them. I'm looking up rescues right now.. and hopefully we can find one nearby that will take her and find her a good home.. *sigh* The bettas and Dipstick are fine, btw..

As for me and my mom, we're trying to find a new house. Our landlord wants us out, and he's being a real pain in the butt. So, we're trying to find a house that me and my mom both like and is in an affordable range.

Well, that's basically it.. I don't mean to talk bad about Giz, but you really have no idea how bad she is.. anyways, I will be back soon, and I miss you all. *HUGS* and *KISSES* From me, Roxy, and Lily!

Has she been to a vet to see if there is anything medically wrong with her? Does she have issues with the other animals? She could be rebelling against all the stress that has been going on in the home. Cats are very sensitive and this could be her way of saying ' I don't like all this upheavable'.


More more info I would love to be able to help. I know she is a good girl inside we just need to find the good girl inside and get the nawteeness down to a decent and fun level.

You are discribing Vixen before she was spayed. Vixen was super wild. We couldn't leave the bathroom door open because we would come home to shredded toilet paper and the cabinets would be emptied and whatever she coould chew into or drag out she would. We had to put elastic bands on the kitchen cupboards because she would get into the paper towels and destroy them and drag out the garbabge bags and dishtowels and whatever else she could. She would also get into the top cupboards and put puncture holes in boxes and eat through the bread bag...not because she was hungry cause there was always food available. She was free feed with a high quality food. Vixen would even climb the door frames. I actually have pics of that.

Once Vixen was spayed it took her about 2 months but she calmed down and became a normal kitty. And gradually she even became a major lover. She is a sweetheart now. Loves cuddles and being in your arms, loves belly rubs and wants your hand on her when she sleeps with you. Giz is not beyond help. She is a wild one but she needs to be spayed. I am sure she will become a normal loving kitty when her hormones are all normal.

did you ever find a place that does low cost spays? Just PM me your location. I can't remember :o sorry and I will see what I can find for you. Maybe it is possible to get her spayed for nothing or for very little.

Maybe you could see if a rescue could help you get her spayed? Or find a vet with a payment plan? Kayla was the exact same way before she got spayed. She is SO much calmer now and is so much more cuddly.

Things are going pretty much the same, but we finally found a food Lily eats! :D It's called natural balance and it's in a roll. As for her Calif. Natural dry food.. guess Roxy gets it! :D

I just checked the site and it size you need to call. It only says for the spay that it is atw...according to weight. So you need to call them and tell them how much she weighs and they will give you the price. When you find out let me know ok.

do you have a regular scale in the house? one for checking your own weight? If so just step on get your weight...pick up giz and get the weight of the 2 of you together then subtract your own weight. That will give you Giz's weight.

Tell them you are not entirely sure on her weight but know it is between 4 and 6 lbs. That way they can give you a range for cost between those 2 weights.

Everything is good here. I bought Roxy some Raw bones with little pieces of meat on them :D! She looooves them. Lily's on Natural Balance in that roll thingy, and both the mutt and pom are good. I keep meaning to find my USB cord so I can put some pictures of them on here. *pastes post-it note to forehead* :p Skye's fine, and Gizzie, well, Gizzie is Gizzie. :rolleyes: Dipstick and the bettas are good. My mom gets her first paycheck this Friday, and hopefully it's going to be good. We probably can't pay the internet bill this time, but maybe next time, so another two weeks! Can't wait to talk to everyone and get caught up on everything.
