anyone have one? I just bought the shuffle. is it the mp3 player that you can't change songs? or is it the shuffle?
when I plugged mine in - it d/l stuff from jukebox and my computer. (this is funny) remember 2 years ago when PT had the "lets hear how you sound thread?" yup that's what's on my ipod. A few songs and about 5-6 people saying HI PT! its funny but its annoying when you spent an hour last nite deleting them from what you thought was right way. I d/l a bunch of songs - I think I have that figgered out - but I don't understand why the voices and some other stuff are still on there when I deleted them. I am just not technical - I should have never even tried.

They are probably still synching when you plug it back in to your computer. So my suggestion is to move the wavs of people saying "hi PT" to another folder because soemtimes it will automatically sync everything again even if you delete it from your mp3 player.

And yeah you can not choose what you listen to with a shuffle (one of the reasons I got a zen instead. same price! lol)

thanks!
I added the songs to my playlist - and that has worked with the songs so far.
I haven't heard any "voices" yet tho. lol
I almost got the zen - saw it was about $10 cheaper but hadn't heard anything about them so didn't know if they were "ok" or not. Are the songs free to u/l from there?

Oh gosh I recommend the Zen ten fold. I don't like iPods, but hey if they work for you and you like it that's what matters. I just personally think if I am going to buy an mp3 player I want to buy it from a company that specializes and was founded on making soundboards, so they know sound quality lol. Apple, on the other hand, specializes in computers, not necessarily sound. I just think that Creative makes a better product (not only that, but Apple took the prototype for the iPod from Creative's Jukebox when it first came out years and years ago. So Creative was the first to stick its foot in the market, they just didn't have near as much money for mass advertising like Apple did). If I'm going to spend my money it would be on a Zen. Just seems you are getting more quality, not to mention more space, for the same price as an iPod.

BUT this is just my opinion lol
