I'm going to try to post happy things in this thread and catch you up on how I ended up with three new baby monsters.
Chester and Frankie came into the shelter when they were about 2 weeks old. All of our foster homes were full and these guys needed bottle feeding. Everybody at that point had bottle babies so it was my turn! I swore I wasn't keeping them, but after days of every two hour feedings, tons of laundry, medicating for runny poo and URI, and about all the love I could handle my sleep deprived heart couldn't let them go.
This is Chester shortly after they arrived.

It soon became clear that Chester was going to be a pain in the tookus! Frankie is very loving and fun but Chester whines about everything! He is into anything and everything and must have his way no matter what.
They both became a part of the "pack" easily and were readily accepted.
Chester makes himself fit in anywhere.

I soon realized what was up with Chester and scared hubby to death when I said.....he's going to be just like Leroy!!!

I swore that was the end of my fostering....NO MATTER WHAT! Yeah right. I was the only one at the shelter one day when a guy knocks on the door. He has a little kitten that he found in his yard and doesn't know what to do with it. I have two choices, take it or send him to the animal control facility where it will be euthanized because it is too young to eat on its own. There really was no choice was there?
I thought that this would be no big deal. This little guy was about four weeks old and I could get him on food in no time so I wouldn't get attached and he would only stay with me for a few days. HAH!!!! This little pint sized terror stole my heart instantly! He is totally fearless and doesn't care how big the cats are cause he's gonna bite and wrestle em'! I have to say that he brought in a huge bright spot during all the sadness we have experienced lately. Even though I didn't want anymore I have to wonder if God didn't send him to put smiles on our faces during all this death. He sure can make you laugh at the darkest times.
